  • Coast Guard to protect grain shipment from Occu-spazes

    Old Trooper sends a link to the Daily Caller which reports that President Obama is sending the Coast Guard to Washington State’s Port of Longview to protect a grain shipment to Asia from those Occu-tards;

    The group of leftwing activists had shut down ports all along the West Coast on Dec. 8, including the Port of Longview. The Coast Guard will apparently be helping the ship load its grain at the port, and then depart for Asia, safely.

    The local unions and “Occupy” groups are planning to band together to protest the Coast Guard protections of the grain shipment when it happens.

    Apparently it’s a protest just for the sake of protesting according to The Daily News;

    “We just want to swell the population of the city to show there are people behind us,” said Jeff Washburn, president of the Cowlitz Wahkiakum Central Labor Council, which passed a resolution calling for a protest this week.

    He added that the labor council plans no attempt to stop the ship, a sentiment echoed in a similar call for protest by leaders of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union.

    However, the Occupy movement it taking a more aggressive stance, calling for members nationwide to gather outside Port of Longview gates and thwart efforts to load the ship….

    What is there about a grain shipment to protest? Talk about some mental masturbation.

  • Biting the hand that feeds you

    Our buddy, JammieWearingFool reports that after a pastor offered his church as refuge for the Occupy Wall Street nomads, he noticed his laptop was missing;

    “There was a sense of shock and sadness that it had happened,” said Brashears, whose laptop will soon be replaced by Occupy organizers. “And there’s a common understanding that if there’s one more theft in the church, that’s it.”

    Yeah, “that’s it” is coming, padre.

    Apparently, according to JWF, the OWS crowd in New York has become a wandering band of flea-biten gypsies since Mayor Bloomberg threw them out of Zuccotti Park last month and it’s eating into their $344,000 savings.

    “We don’t do this out of charity,” said 34-year-old Ravi Ahmad, who works for Columbia University and volunteers with Occupy in her spare time. “We do this so that whoever wants to work in the movement can work in the movement. This is a meritocracy.”

    Yeah, to be a meritocracy, there has to be some merit involved.

    So basically, they’re getting paid and provided for to be homeless scum on the streets of New York, as if there weren’t enough already. Apparently, their numbers are dwindling as colder weather sets in;

    The die-hards said they were there to stay. “If you don’t like the cold, occupy Key West,” said James McGuinness, 55, of Queens.

    But wait until the Sunshine Occupiers come out in the Spring like the crocuses.

  • Occupy protesters “save” baby

    ROS sends this link from CNN about a douche nozzle who left his 13-month-old baby unattended and alone at the Occupy DC protest;

    Police were called around 10 a.m. and found the baby girl wearing only a “onesie,” Schlosser said. Temperatures in Washington at the time were in the low 40s.

    DC Fire and EMS responded and found the child in good health, Schlosser said. She is now in the custody of Washington’s Child and Family Services Agency.

    A man claiming to be the girl’s father returned to the park about 30 minutes later.

    He has been charged with attempted second degree cruelty to a child, according to Schlosser.

    Yeah, the only reason I mention this is because I saw a “teaser” about the story on the local DC news about how DC protesters “saved” a baby. Um, it was an Occupy DC protester who abandoned his baby among the rats and filth in Farragut MacPherson Square. Wouldn’t a responsible news organization report the story like that? It was DC’s Fox5, by the way.

  • Debbie Wasserman Ditz blames Tea Party for “tone”

    A year has passed peacefully without the Left going batshit crazy over the shooting in Tucson involving Congresswoman Gabriele Giffords…until it’s the political season. She’s the only one left in America who still ruminates publicly about the Tea party being anyway involved in the shooting by a nutjob. From Michelle Malkin;

    “We need to make sure that we tone things down, particularly in light of the Tucson tragedy from a year ago, where my very good friend, Gabby Giffords — who is doing really well, by the way, — [was shot],” Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic National Committee chair said during a “Politics and Eggs” forum this morning. “The discourse in America, the discourse in Congress in particular . . . has really changed, I’ll tell you. I hesitate to place blame, but I have noticed it take a very precipitous turn towards edginess and lack of civility with the growth of the Tea Party movement.”

    Yeah, the tone has changed because Americans are making their opinions heard instead of just cowing in the back of the room while Der Wasserman and her colleagues preach to us about how we should fell feel and think. Terrible, huh?

    If any popular group has changed the “tone” it’s those Occupy maggots who disrupt legislative sessions, crap in our streets and beg for free shit. Those are exactly the people I warned my children away from while they were growing up. And they’re exactly the people that Ditz would pander to.

  • Rats infest Occupy DC, but we knew that

    According to the Washington Post in a link sent to us by Old Trooper, there’s been an infestation of rodents – how they can tell, I don’t know;

    Akhter said in an interview Monday that city health inspectors have seen rats running openly through both camps and spotted numerous new burrows and nests underneath hay-stuffed pallets occupiers are using for beds. Both campsites had working kitchens for weeks until last week, but protesters at McPherson Square voluntarily closed down theirs after health inspectors pointed out unsanitary conditions during an informal monitoring visit.

    I’m sure the rats are part of the 1% and trying to mak the protesters look bad…er…worse.

    “I’m very supportive of their rights and ability to demonstrate but I have concerns about their personal safety,” Akhter said.

    Isn’t that just like the nanny government to be more concerned about the filthy hippies and their new furry scavenging membership than they are about the Occupy filth’s rights to live in the squalor that they’ve created as an expression of their liberty?

    What’s more important here, public health and safety or the hippies right to continue being pests without a point. I mean the whole point of the Occupy movement is to make us feel sorry for them, a rodent infestation just better serves that goal, right?

  • Anti-war drivel

    This was on Lew Rockwell, someone posted it on Facebook and despite the warning, I didn’t take antacids before reading it. But, it’s written by some doofus named Laurence M. Vance and titled “Marines, Why Do You Do This to Your Families?“. judging by the title, you’d think Mr. Vance is asking the Marines to stop abusing their families in some manner, but no, he’s asking them why they would go to war. After plowing through the series of specials on PBS about the 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment and their tour of Afghanistan in the Sangin district of Helmand province. Apparently, they had a tough time of it and lost 25 Marines killing 470 Taliban (you know those guys who aren’t our enemies). So the abuse that the Marines of 3-5 are inflicting on their family is the fact tha they’re conducting our nations’ wars;

    If you just wanted to feel the trill of leading men in battle, then shame on you. If you just couldn’t find a job so you enlisted in the Marines, then shame on you. If you just wanted to experience the mental and physical challenge, then shame on you. If you just enlisted because your father was a Marine, then shame on you. If you just wanted to go to war, then shame on you. If you just thought you were defending our freedoms, then shame on you. If you just wanted to die a hero, then shame on you. If you just felt you had to complete the mission, then shame on you. If you just enlisted because you thought your government needed you, then shame on you. If you thought there was just no better job than being a Marine, then shame on you.

    I have no doubt that the Marines of the Darkhorse Battalion fought valiantly. I am not questioning their manhood, courage, or determination. But I also have no doubt that each of the deaths of those twenty-five Marines from the Darkhorse Battalion was preventable, unnecessary, and senseless.

    Lance Cpl. Josue Barron, who lost an eye, a leg, and some of his close friends, at the end of a discussion about whether everything that happened in Afghanistan was “worth it,” said: “It was worth it. If I say it wasn’t worth it, what about my friends that died? I’m disrespecting them, like they died for nothing.”

    Sorry, Josue, as much as you may not want to face it, and no matter how many times you tell yourself that it was “worth it,” your friends died in vain just like those unfortunate U.S. soldiers who died in Iraq. Likewise, the only thing that the Marines in Afghanistan died for was a lie.

    Shame on you for putting the Marines above your families. Shame on you for making a god out of the Marines.

    It must be nice to know that there are Marines out there who put their lives on the line everyday so people like you, Miss Vance (I have no problem questioning his manhood), can retch this kind of bile onto the intertubes. If there weren’t men like the 3-5 Marines, Miss Vance might have to defend himself on the street outside his warm and comfortable home, or by his roaring fire hearth and that would cut into his writing schedule, not to mention his ability to breathe.

    Of course, no Lew Rockwell piece is complete without a salute to chief crank emeritus of the anti-war movement;

    I plead with you to heed the words of U.S. Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler (1881-1940), a two-time Congressional Medal of Honor winner who came to the conclusion that:

    War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

    Do you mean the Smedley Butler who was suspected of conspiring in a plot to overthrow the US government and install a Nazi sympathizer as our president? THAT Smedley Butler? But then, the linguine-spined anti-war movement has always been more comfortable with Nazis and Socialists than a democratic government protected by the US Marines.

  • Good news! Assault is free speech!

    Tman sends us a link from The Blaze to the best news I’ve heard in years. A Muslim woman struck a Jewish woman with a shopping cart while the Jewish woman was counter-protesting an anti-Israel “Apartheid Week” rally conducted by the Muslim Student Association;

    “The incident in which Felber was assaulted with a shopping cart, for example, did not occur in the context of her educational pursuit,” Seeborg stated. “Rather, that event occurred when she, as one person attempting to exercise free speech rights in a public forum, was allegedly attacked by another person who likewise was participating in a public protest in a public forum.”

    Muslim protesters aren’t the most tolerant protesters on the planet…I’ve watched them assault counter-protesters just about every time I’ve attended their protests. The police aren’t willing to arrest them and now judges aren’t willing to enforce laws now. I guess it’s up to us, like in everything else, to protect ourselves.

    So I guess what you can take away from this is any assault you commit at a protest is protected speech…bad news for the stick-boy hippies, good news for those of us who believe that all they need is a good ass-whooping to get their lives back on track. I wouldn’t be the first white Christian to test the case in the courts, though.

  • OWS standing on Danny Chen’s body

    I’m sure you remember the tragic case of Private Danny Chen who NSOM wrote about last week or so. All we know for sure is that Chen committed suicide, but eight soldiers are accused of hazing him until he committed suicide. Anyway, Esther Choi writes about her experiences with OWS when she tried to encourage them to help the family get some information from the Army in regards to Chen’s death;

    Conflict erupted when one of the OWS-affiliated protesters came with a giant Communist Party of China flag. This white man decided that he was entitled to represent us, at this protest for an American soldier, with a flag that has been used by this country to vilify the Chinese American community. When people began asking him not to demonstrate that flag because it was not the purpose of the event and we were in no way representing China or political parties, he began screaming at us about how we were ANTI-COMMUNIST and trying to take away his first amendment rights. We told him that Danny Chen was an American soldier and we wanted to respect the family and their wishes, but he continued screaming violent accusations at us at the top of his lungs and disrupting the event, until one of Danny Chen’s family members, on the verge of tears, finally convinced him to leave

    OWS protesters often make it seem like they are the birth of social justice activism, that they are here to teach us how to protest because none of us know what the fuck we are doing and need their wealth of experience to help us out. I was not at all surprised when that woman so naturally assumed that she, as a white woman, knew better than me….

    The actions of these OWS protesters showed that they were at the march and vigil, not to show their support for Danny Chen’s family or the ongoing work on their case, but to provoke and garner attention for themselves and their brand, and then try to turn our strategic work and planning into a nonsensical, self-righteous tantrum. They acted like tourists on vacation in the social justice world, and our efforts and long-term goals were expendable in light of their self-interested pursuit of an interesting experience.

    I deal with ignorant bigots every day and am willing to do so as part of my own commitment to my work, but when bigots come posing as allies and then very dramatically play the martyr when we call out their bullshit, it really derails our ability to do our work

    Yes, and I’ve always hated hippies because they think that there was no human history before the moment of their birth, that no one understands the suffering in the world without them to tell us about it. That no one cares until they ask us to care. If they cleave to bloody communist tyrants, you must also cleave. And the First Amendment was created exclusively for them…not you. And they’ll piss on your grave if it gets them a moment of attention.

    I’d probably never get along with Ms. Choi, but I do sympathize with her in this case, but she should have known that she was inviting trouble when she asked the filthy, self-righteous OWS to participate in an event which had the military as a target.

    Sporkmaster:
    I thought this gem deserves a view.

    Another white OWS protester began trying to use the human mic to direct the protest, and told me that I shouldn’t be using the blowhorn because the cops were going to take it away. I told her that, no, we had a parade permit and sound permit, which was why the police were there clearing the streets for our march. She looked confused and stopped yelling.
