  • Duff predicts “nuclear Christmas”

    TSO sends a link to Veterans Today‘s senior editor Gordon Duff and his latest drooling on his keyboard predicting a nuclear detonation in the US by “groups within the Pentagon, several government agencies and wealthy and powerful extremist backers of Netanyahu and, in particular, the “Gulf Cartel” operating from Mexico that has penetrated nearly all levels of government, law enforcement and the military across the country.” Of course, they got the idea from watching the post-apocalyptic TV show “Jericho”. And Duff’s choice for president, Obama, is in on it for some odd reason.

    Six days ago, the President of the United States, on his official public website, issued a warning about “government insiders” who were planning “violent acts” against the “government and the nation.”

    Despite the public nature and seriousness of this announcement and the draconian measures alluded to in order to “mitigate” the threat, no member of the opposition party which usually jumps on any and every word the president says has mentioned anything.

    Moreover, there has been a total press blackout on this press release, which is prominently displayed on the White House website. Those we have spoken with at the highest levels of the military and key intelligence and law enforcement agencies indicate they have never seen a statement of this kind and find it shocking.

    Apparently, some unnammed group stole some nuclear weapons back in 1990 and they’ve been hidden somewhere, probably in Prescott Bush’s mausoleum, and now someone is going to detonate them to create, whatelse, a false flag attack that will implicate Iran so we can retaliate against them.

    And, oh, by the way, the war that we’ve been embroiled in for the last decade was all invented;

    Historical record will prove that the US Department of Justice did, in fact, invent “Al Qaeda” in order to bring “conspiracy” charges against Osama bin Laden where there was absolutely no evidence of his involvement. We are speaking of the East Africa embassy bombings.

    President Obama, in his November 21, 2012 press release has, after all these years, finally admitted that the American government is deeply infiltrated with militant extremists who have used false flag terror to push their political agenda.

    In fact, the Bush 43 administration was almost entirely made up of militant extremists and, were it not for the political defeats of both McCain and Romney; organized crime would have had the military forces of the US as their “private army” for eight more years.

    Of course, Duff doesn’t provide any links to these supposed revelations by President Obama, mostly likely because his links would prove him to be the conspiracy nutcase that he is.

    So, when the predicted nuclear detonation doesn’t happen, it will be because Duff exposed it. By the way, Duff’s source for all of this lunacy is PressTV, the Iran government’s official mouthpiece.

  • Tips for Hamas

    I’ve dug up the post I did a year and half ago for the folks in Gaza so they can protect themselves from Israeli rockets. These were the approved head gear of the Egyptian rioters, maybe some Gazan lives will be saved by our tips;

    This is my favorite – that’s bread taped to his head;

    Hey, we used to cook in our steel pot helmets why can’t it work the other way?

  • More conspiracy – from the real Duff

    Everyone has been speculating about the firing of Admiral Gaouette who was relieved of his command in the Persian Gulf and returned to the States. Of course, some of the reasons that he was fired have extended to the Benghazi consulate attack, but he was in the wrong theater of operations to have been involved in any way there. Well, our buddy, Gordon Duff posits the best theory I’ve heard. And by best theory, I mean the most ridiculous and entertaining theory from a blogging standpoint. Certainly, not the most credible, however;

    The decision was made based on a conversation with the Secretary of Defense who, at the end of the talk, believed Gaouette was part of a group of military officers who have been under suspicion for planning a “Seven Days in May” type overthrow of the US government if President Obama is re-elected.

    This is not conjecture, dozens of key officers face firing, hundreds are under investigation, all with direct ties to extremist elements in the Republican Party and the Israeli lobby.

    Reports received are sourced at the highest levels of the Pentagon and indicate that the administration has been aware of these plans for months.

    Well, you knew the Joos had something to do with it, because it’s racist, Ron Paulian Gordon Duff. He goes on with theory that it was the Joos who stormed the Benghazi consulate to frame the non-existent al Qaeda terrorists, for whom Duff seems to have some sympathy. But it’s all a big conspiracy to attack those poor little Iranians with nukes that the Bush Administration stole from Barksdale AFB and they’ve stashed on Diego Garcia awaiting the Israeli frame-up of Iran in the same manner as the Benghazi false flag operation.

    And it was all an attempt by the military to make the Obama Administration look bad before the election. As if the Obama Administration needed help looking bad. Did I mention that Duff supported Ron Paul? And of course, the next best candidate to Paul is Obama, if you can’t see that well, you’re not paying attention.

    Oh, and you remember how I mentioned in the other post about the Iranians claiming that they fired Sandy at us that DUff must be working for them? Well, check out the by-line in the Duff article; PressTV, the Iranian government media arm co-wrote this article with Duff. And he has the temerity to name the website “Veterans Today”.

  • Iran created Sandy

    TSO sends a link from the Washington Post which reports that the Iranian government is taking credit for creating the hurricane that struck the East Coast this week;

    Here’s the English translation:

    Sources confirm that hurricane Sandy, now buffeting the U.S., was carried out by highly advanced technology developed by the heroic Iranian regime, in coordination with our resistant regime. These sources have also confirmed that experts from Syria have contributed in carrying out this work. This is the consequence of attacking Assad’s Syria and threatening its security.

    The post attracted over a thousand comments and was shared over a thousand times. Though some users expressed support, much of the commentary appears to be mocking and derisive. The most common comment was a simple string of “haha.” Many made references to donkeys.

    I guess Gordon Duff and Captain Eric May have made the leap to the Iran state media organ. Good for them.

  • Soap-eating woman crashes into Walter Reed

    Some nutty woman by the name of Angela Akosua Cobbold was seen careening down I-66 in Arlington County, VA yesterday. Police radioed ahead to Montgomery County, MD where she was next spotted on Wisconsin Avenue near the new Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Apparently, she tried to assault a police officer with her car and he fired at least one round before she crashed into the fence.

    Police officers report that they spotted her chewing on a bar of soap while she was driving;

    Officers who approached Cobbold’s car said they observed her “biting or attempting to eat a bar of soap,” says Capt. Paul Starks, a Montgomery County police spokesman. But the officers – part of the Department of Defense – weren’t able to engage Cobbold before she crashed into another car and headed back onto Wisconsin Avenue.

    Police say Cobbold then drove down Wisconsin to the Medical Center Metro station, before driving back toward Walter Reed. An officer stopped the car, but police say Cobbold wouldn’t roll down her window, and the officer broke both the rear driver’s side window and the driver’s window with his baton.

    Cobbold backed up and rammed her car into a marked cruiser, police say, then drove over a curb, across a sidewalk and into the grass. She then drove her car toward another officer, who shot once at the car, police say.

    It takes all kinds. Thanks to H1 for the link.

  • Yeah, this lawsuit sounds legit

    Courthouse News reports that Frank Ford, supposedly an Iraq War veteran is suing the Army because they drugged him and tortured him because he threatened to blow the whistle on them for all of the illegal activities he witnessed in Iraq. For example he found weapons of mass destruction that had shipping labels from the US. He found $40 million and turned it over to his chain of command, but when he went to get money to pay a confidential informant, they told him the money was gone and he’d have to pay out of his own pocket.

    Of course, Ford witnessed torture and prisoner abuse at Abu Gahraib. Hasn’t everyone. Things got ugly when he filed for whistleblower protection;

    “On June 21, 2003 plaintiff Ford was, against his will, kidnapped, drugged and strapped to a stretcher. He was then flown out of Iraq to Germany without orders or being listed on the manifest. Ford was accompanied, under guard, by defendant Dr. Madera who was sent for the sole purpose of monitoring plaintiff Ford’s communications. Defendant Madera stated to Ford that ‘you have been kidnapped to shut you up because [defendant] LTC Ryan is terrified of what you have to say,” the complaint states.
    Attorney Goodwin says his client has corroboration, in the form of a heavily redacted CID memo dated June 16, 2004, that Madera’s commanding officers forced her to ship Ford off to Germany.

    I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been drugged and shipped out of a country because I couldn’t bear the burden of what I witnessed any longer.

    Attorney Jeffries acknowledged that his client faces an uphill battle in taking on the U.S. government, and the Army, especially since his story resurrects the depravity that took place at Abu Ghraib prison a decade ago.
    “Everyone in the government is staying mum about it,” Goodwin said. “We’ve since found documents asked for under [the Freedom of Information Act]. They were lost, misfiled by the same CID officer who tried to cover up.”
    Ford’s other FOIA requests have gone unanswered. “No response. Four filed, all outstanding,” Goodwin said.
    Ford leads a quieter life these days, working for the California Department of Corrections at Folsom State Prison. He’s close to retirement. But Goodwin says that his client is afraid for his life.

    No FOIA means the government is hiding something, I’m sure that’s in the law books somewhere and it’s completely legitimate as evidence. I’m actually surprised that he didn’t try to accuse the government of covering up evidence of UFOs and Bigfoot while he was at it.

  • Focus…

    This struck me as profound.

    On Friday Sept. 14, at around 10.15 p.m. local time, a force of Taliban gunmen attacked Camp Bastion, in Helmand Province, the main strategic base in southwestern Afghanistan.

    About 15 insurgents (19 according to some reports), wearing U.S. Army uniforms, organized into three teams, breached the perimeter fence and launched an assault on the airfield, that includes the U.S. Camp Leatherneck and the UK’s Camp Bastion, where British royal Prince Harry, an AH-64 Apache pilot (initially believed to be the main target of the attack) is stationed.

    But,

    Considered that the U.S. Marine Corps are believed to be equipped with slightly more than 120 AV-8B+, the attack on Camp Bastion has wiped out 1/15th of the entire U.S. Jump Jet fleet and a large slice of the Yuma-based squadron. A serious problem for the USMC, that was compelled to buy second hand RAF Harrier GR9s to keep the AV-8B+ in service beyond 2030, when it will be replaced by the F-35B.

    The headline: Marine Attack Squadron loses eight Harrier jets in worst U.S. air loss in one day since the Vietnam War

    Can it be that those goat ropers have shifted focus?

  • Finally, a submariner braggart

    Mike sends us a link to the story about a Washington State man who was arrested by federal authorities for sending threatening emails to the President. His name is Anton Caluori and he compounded his crime by attacking the federal agents, apparently, which is always smart.

    Mike also looked the dude up on LinkedIn and it looks like he built our whole nuclear Navy all by hisseff;

    Submarine Machinist Mate
    Preformed: nuclear reactor change out, multiple sub-surface ICBM missile launches (Atlantic and Pacific ranges), >500,000 miles at sea (below the water line), hundreds of “Classified” and “Top Secret” operations at sea and on land, several artic and equatorial patrols, presidential recommendation upon captain, crew and vessel, surveillance and counter-surveillance of land mass, aerial, and surface target/contacts, nuclear weapons loading and off-loading, 100 hour work weeks import and at sea.

    500,000 miles at sea, huh? Well the Earth’s circumference is only 24,000 miles, so I guess he was firing missiles from deep space. And on what “Top Secret” missions would the Navy send a machinist’s mate “on land”? And oh, yeah, it’s spelled “performed” and “Arctic”.

    So, now you bubbleheads won’t feel left out.
