Police found drugs, money and more guns in the apartment, so, you know, who do you cheer for in this instance?

    Chief Tango sends us another one from Augusta, Georgia, where Jefferson Clement went shopping for an apartment by prying off the screens and trying to push open the windows. After a few tries, he finally found a window, but unfortunately for poor Jefferson, the resident had a .380 pistol bedside and lobbed a round at him, striking him in the thigh, so he scurried home, went to the hospital where he now has police protection.

    In Corpus Christi, Texas, Robert Smith thought, for some reason, that a homeowner was holding a woman as a prisoner and tried to force his way into the home that wasn’t his to search for her and he grabbed the homeowner by the throat. When Smith wouldn’t leave, Mr Homeowner threatened him with a gun, which didn’t deter Mr. Smith on his quixotic quest to rescue a non-existant woman. Two warning shots fazed him not in the least, but the final round into his leg seemed to do the trick.

    Well, he’s the first one we’ve had from that particular mission. Eight were killed and five were injured. Unfortunately for Mr. Hemingway, his name isn’t among the wounded;

    * Airman 1st Class William V. Tootle, 21 from Fort Walton Beach, FL
    * Air Force Staff Sgt Joseph B. Beyers III, 37, of Charleston, SC
    * Marine Maj Leslie B. Petty, 34, of Jacksonville, NC
    * Air Force 1st Lt Jeffrey B. Harrison, 26 from Warron, OH
    * Marine Major Jame H. Schaefer Jr., 36, of Los Angeles, CA

    He was in the Army at the time, but he was at Fort Campbell, KY, and they didn’t need a Specialist Four wheeled vehicle mechanic to go along with them to Tehran.

    Reader “Ohio” sends us link from Charleston, West Virginia where a man, determined to win the love of a good woman he had met on a dating website, beat and strangled her at gun point. In King County, Washington, a 70-year-old man defended his 65-year-old roommate when the roommate was assaulted by a gentleman who, I’m sure had just begun to turn his life around. The 70-year-old shot the gentleman at least twice and the police found him at the local hospital with his newly-acquired orifices. The officers are currently making long term arrangements for the gentleman at the expense of the taxpayers. Elderly homeowners had better shoot as many criminals as they can while they still have their guns.

    Monday morning feel good stories

    A homeowner in St. Louis County, Missouri got off easy when he confronted David Banks who had broke into his house with a gun and then got into an altercation. Banks wrested control of the weapon from it’s owner and then used the gun to threaten the homeowner’s wife. Banks didn’t harm anyone thankfully, but he ran off and he was picked up by police. But, damn, people, if someone breaks into your home and gets close enough for you to wrestle with them, shoot ’em, damn it!

    KPTV – FOX 12

    In Mascotte, Florida, a couple of fellows broke into a home where they pistol whipped and shot the residents before they were able to call 9-11. The police arrived quickly enough to arrest one of the criminals. While they were involved in the cuffing and stuffing of that guy, a reporter on the scene found another of the fellows, Chacarion Avant, and pointed him out to police. Avant stood from his hiding place and pointed a rifle at the officers who had no problem making him DOT (he went to the hospital before he expired).

    According to his cousin, Avant’s rifle jammed and the police shouldn’t have killed him. Have you criminals ever noticed how in the movies soldiers are always cleaning the weapons before the battle? There’s a reason for that. And, oh, by the way, Avant deserved to perish in a hail of gunfire for thinking he was in the movies.
