  • Massachusetts cop faked attack

    You may have heard about the cop in Millis, Massachusetts who claimed that someone shot at him while he was on patrol and caused him to crash his car and it burst into flames as a result. Well, it looks like the young officer was lying according to Fox News.

    [Millis Police Sergeant William Dwyer] said criminal charges are expected against the part-time officer, who has not yet been identified. Dwyer added the officer was a dispatcher and going to be a full time officer soon. There was no indication of the officer’s motive in reporting the shooting.

    They shouldn’t have had a part time cop patrolling by himself in the first place, but then, no one could expect him to pull a stunt like his. They’re lucky he didn’t hurt anyone, or stay in the job long enough to hurt someone. He was a bad criminal, too, I mean how could a cop not outsmart the investigators?

    Easley High School student gets a parking ticket for flying a POW/MIA flag

    Easley High School traffic citation1a

    Mary sends us a story that someone sent to her about a high school student who got a $10 parking ticket for flying an illegal flag on his car. That flag was the POW/MIA flag;

    I am only 17 I don’t know everything but my dad raised me to know right from wrong and this is just a new level of low! They say we can only fly American, state, or school flag. But what I don’t understand is why I can fly an American flag but I can’t show my support for our troops. And this wasn’t the first day I’ve flew the flag I’ve been flying it for a week or two….

    Easley High School in South Carolina, where this happened, was in the national news recently when they forbade American flags on students’ vehicles on school property. According to the local news, they have a policy now;

    Below is the statement that school officials say was sent to parents:

    “It has been the practice at EHS since the beginning of this school year to ask students to secure any flags or poles on vehicles before they came onto school property or left their cars. This was an effort to prevent the possible damage to personal property while on school grounds. On Thursday, August 27, a student requested that a staff member help in the removal of a zip tie. This has been incorrectly reported as a staff member damaging a flag. Several parents and students did ask about the reasoning and correctly pointed out that an American flag should be allowed to fly at any time. The procedure was changed to allow the American, State, and School flags. Students were notified on the same day.”

    Last week, they made it clear that the Confederate flag is banned.

    I’ve been trying to talk to Mr. Chris Long whose signature appears on the ticket, but voice mail messages thus far haven’t been returned.

    ROSENE-Joshua

    Andy11M sends us a Washington Post link to the story of 18-year-old Robert Rosene of Manassas, Virginia who tried to pull over a real cop with his Pontiac and flashing blue lights. When the real cop became suspicious and refused to pull over, Rosene took off with the real cop on his tail. Real cops caught up with him and tossed his ass in the hoosegow.

    Some of our phonies expanded their resumes as police impersonators, like Dennis Chevalier, Angelo Otchy and Jason Scaletta, so I’m sure that we’ll hear from Mister Rosene in the future.

  • Matt Cavanaugh: The Military’s Purpose is Not to Kill People and Break Things

    Matt Cavanaugh: The Military’s Purpose is Not to Kill People and Break Things

    If you read Matt Cavanaugh’s article at War on The Rocks, I guarantee you that it will be the dumbest thing that you read today. Apparently, he’s upset that former Governor Mike Huckabee said during the debate a few weeks ago that the military’s mission is to kill people and break things. Mister Cavanaugh takes exception to that statement;

    The military’s purpose is not to kill people and break things. This idea is factually, historically, professionally, and philosophically wrong — and must itself be remorselessly killed and violently broken. This 11-word platitude has no place in modern society.

    […]

    If my purpose is to kill people and break things, how do I explain this to my wife and two young daughters?

    He continues to illustrate his point with many of the shit-jobs that the military has had to perform for the world like building the Panama Canal and the Space Race. I remember one of the shit-jobs the military had feeding the Somalians that turned even shittier because the forces of evil were more willing to kill people and break things than the leaders of the US military. In order to do all of those things that Matt wants to do that make him and his daughters feel good about his job, it needs to happen in a safe and secure environment. Because there are forces of evil in the world, the US military has to be prepared to kill people and break things.

    When a foreign leader wakes up in the morning and finds a Fleet Marine Force on his shores, I’m sure he’s not expecting them to hand out Halloween candy to his subjects. When a flight of aircraft packed with paratroopers of the 82d Airborne Division appear on his horizon, he knows that he f***ed up beyond reason. It’s not by chance that the first course of study in the Army for the enlisted soldiers is called Basic Combat Training.

    Critics will counter with Clausewitz, dismissing my argument as the naïve, “kind-hearted” words of someone that misguidedly believes there is “some ingenious way to disarm or defeat an enemy without too much bloodshed.” But Clausewitz was writing in an era of limited options, when a bloodsucking leech was often the medical profession’s first and only recourse. Today is different.

    Unfortunately, it’s clowns like Cavanaugh who don’t want to accept the realities of the world. That nonacceptance of realities is what has given us the rise of ISIS, al Qaeda, the Taliban, the mullahs of Tehran. He’s part of the reason that a day after rejecting the possibility of release of Americans held by Iran, they demanded the release of Iranian prisoners in the West. See, the western world may have changed, but the enemies of freedom haven’t changed. They behead children and burn women alive because there is nothing that they fear from the West – and their thinking predates Clausewitz. Because the Cavanaughs of the world don’t understand the basic nature of war.

    It’s the thinking that Cavanaugh follows that dragged out the Civil War until Grant and Sherman followed the advice of Clausewitz and fought total war, instead of the touchy-feely bullshit that McClellan espoused. But, I guess it’s because Grant had limited options. He should have started a meals-on-wheels program to defeat Lee’s armies. Or built schools and mosques for southerners. Maybe raise the minimum wage.

    Then Cavanaugh goes completely off the rails with some diatribe aimed at Hollywood, Captain America and steroids. I lost him there. It’s Hollywood that perpetuates Cavanaugh’s view of the world, that solutions can be arrived at quickly and peacefully and that there’s something wrong with killing bad people and breaking their things.

    The Germans were still fighting after Hitler had committed suicide and the Allies had dropped everything in the country to ground level rubble. The Japanese were preparing to defend their own country until the US made it less attractive by radiating a couple of large cities and their inhabitants. In 1991, Hussein still clung to his military power and used against his own people even though most of his Army lay in smoking ruins on the battlefields in Kuwait and Iraq. Then twelve years later sent them back out on the field of battle even though it had already been proven that he couldn’t win. the US military kills people and breaks things better than any other – our biggest enemies are the politicians who don’t have the heart to fight wars the way they should be fought because the Cavanaughs of the world can’t explain their jobs to their wives and children.

    If you need a way to explain it to your wife and daughter – tell them that you kill people and break things because someone has to do it and most Americans are too cowardly to even admit that they know about it. That you kill people and break things so that people don’t come here and do it to us first – because they certainly want to come here and kill us and break our things. Or, you could just go get a nice job on Wall Street in a suit, because that kind of thinking that you’re doing now, that isn’t really thinking, especially coming from a professional military officer. It’s just a mindless stringing together of words that make no sense and have nothing to do with the realities of the world in which we live.

  • Ashley Madison email dump catches military members

    Ashley Madison email dump catches military members

    We can probably put this in the same column with those guys who publish videos of themselves doing dumb things in combat. Several thousand members of the Army and Navy where caught in the dump of cheaters’ emails from the Ashley Madison hack using their military email addresses;

    us.army.mil 6788
    navy.mil 1665
    usmc.mil 809
    […]
    va.gov 104
    […]
    med.navy.mil 62
    usarmy.mil 55
    us.af.mil 54
    […]
    whitehouse.gov 44

    Not particularly bright, especially with the number of free email services. The Hill says that the hackers who published the list says that they did it to shame the users. I’m not sure people that stupid can be shamed.

    Wired says that there is no email verification at Ashley Madison, it is possible that some email addresses were used without the owners’ knowledge.

    Shaun King; phony Black man

    Shaun King

    So, now there’s this fellow Shaun King who is a figure in the “Black Lives Matter” movement and who fleeced Oprah Winfrey for a scholarship. According to the New York Daily News, he’s just another white guy.

    After Breitbart published its story, King took to Twitter to counter the claims.

    “First off, the key facts about my biological relatives are all wrong. They tried, but my family, like many of yours, is one big mess,” King wrote. “Like many of you, I have siblings I don’t know, siblings I’m estranged from, and a family full of secrets, divorce, affairs, etc.”

    The activist denied the report regarding his birth certificate and said his family history was complicated.

    “No 2 siblings in my family have the same set of parents. We’re all over the place. Some of us are not even blood relatives,” he added. “If you have known me from when I was in elementary school at Huntertown Elementary until now, you’ve known me as black or bi-racial.”

    I guess when you’re in the business of dividing the country along racial lines, you have to put yourself on the side that stands to gain the most.

    I don’t know, but I don’t see anyone who is bi-racial in that picture;

  • Border vigilantes arrested in drug rip-off sting

    Border vigilantes arrested in drug rip-off sting

    Arizona

    You probably remember the guy pictured above from when John Ritzheimer had his “Draw Mohammad” contest in Phoenix, back in May, and this guy was his “security”. It turns out that his name is Robert Deatherage and along with two other fellows, Parris Frazier and Erik Foster, he’s been arrested for trying to rip off cocaine from a drug dealer who, it turns out, was really the Feds according to KPHO.

    The complaint states that over the course of the next six months, the undercover agent made contact with Frazier several more times, and set up fictitious drug and cash “rips” that were monitored by the Phoenix Police Department and the FBI. At one point, Frazier reportedly offered to kill anyone the undercover agent wanted “taken out.”

    The complaint describes instances where authorities set up scenarios in which Frazier and his team believed they were stealing cartel cash.

    On July 22, the FBI set up the final sting, where they would take Frazier, Foster and Deatherage into custody. Under video surveillance, the three heavily armed men reportedly broke into a warehouse near Interstate 17 and 39th Avenue. The complaint states that the informant told Frazier there would be 10 kilos of cocaine stored there. The plan was for Frazier to steal the drugs and sell them back to the undercover agent.

    At the break-in, an FBI SWAT team moved in, but the complaint states that the three men took off in a vehicle at a high rate of speed.

    Authorities called off the chase because of safety concerns but followed the suspects with an air unit.

    All three were taken into custody at an apartment rented by Frazier’s girlfriend.

    They were members of the border vigilante group Arizona Special Operations Group.

  • Rick Perlstein: take down that racist POW/MIA flag

    Rick Perlstein: take down that racist POW/MIA flag

    Rick Perlstein

    There’s a stank-ass hippie by the name of Rick Perlstein who thinks he’s using critical thinking by writing in Newsweek that It’s Time to Haul Down Another Flag of Racist Hate, meaning of course, that evil POW/MIA flag. It’s also posted at the Washington Spectator. According to Perlstein, the authorization of the flag was all based on lies and propaganda;

    Whenever Nixon or one of his minions talked about the problem, they tended to use the number 1,400. The number of actual prisoners, was about 550. The number of downed, missing pilots were spoken of, prima facia, as if they were missing, too, although almost all of them were certainly dead.

    Yeah, well, there were 591 POWs released for Operation Homecoming on February 12, 1973. According to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, there are still 1627 Americans missing from the war in Vietnam. Yeah, odds are that they’re dead, but they’re still missing, dimbulb. By the way, there are 83,117 Americans missing from all of our wars back to World War II. Even though the flag was borne out of the Vietnam War, it represents all of our POW and Missing – which is why the DPAA is still recovering World War II remains.

    [President Nixon] declared [the POWs] treatment, and the enemy’s refusal to provide a list of their names, violations of the Geneva Conventions—the better to paint the North Vietnamese as uniquely cruel and inhumane. He also demanded the release of American prisoners as a precondition to ending the war.

    This was bullshit four times over: first, because in every other conflict in human history, the release of prisoners had been something settled at the close of a war; second, because these prisoners only existed because of America’s antecedent violations of the Geneva Conventions in bombing civilians in an undeclared war; third, because, as bad as their torture of prisoners was, rather than representing some species of Oriental despotism, the Vietnam Communists were only borrowing techniques practiced on them by their French colonists (and incidentally paid forward by us in places like Abu Ghraib)….

    If asking for the release of prisoners as a precondition to peace is so outrageous, why are we releasing prisoners from Guantanamo and other prisoners around the Middle East as a precondition to peace talks with the Taliban and al Qaeda these days? Dimbulb.

    The treatment of American prisoners by the North Vietnamese was horrendous and not even close to a little water boarding that they got at Abu Ghraib. Those prisoners in Iraq were well-fed, their medical problems were attended, but, some criminals made them into a naked pyramid once, so yeah, that’s comparable. Dimbulb.

    Being a partisan animal himself, Perstein figures that anyone who supported POWs were doing it for political purposes, too. Even the families of POWs.

    [National League of Families of Prisoners of War] was founded by POW wife Sybil Stockdale, during the Johnson administration, in an effort to embarrass LBJ and challenge his line that all in Vietnam was going swell. Johnson tried to silence them; Nixon’s people, however, spying opportunity, coopted the group, sometimes inventing chapters outright, to fan the propaganda flames.

    I suppose that Sybil Stockdale was more interested in embarrassing Lyndon Johnson than bringing her husband home to his family. Dimbulb.

    Perlstein wants this to all be connected to Richard Nixon, and Nixon is his boogeyman reason for removing the flag, but the thing is that the flag was designed in 1972, four years after Lyndon Johnson left the White House. It was first flown over the White House in 1982, eight years after Richard Nixon left the White House. It first flew over the Capital on August 10, 1990 when the Democrat-controlled 101st Congress passed U.S. Public Law 101-355.

    Of course, Perlstein needs to crap all over the POWs themselves by claiming that they were mostly anti-war protesters when they were POWs. He can’t bring himself to call them collaborators.

    [M]any of the prisoners were anti-war activists. One member of the “Peace Committee” within the POW camps, Abel Larry Kavanaugh, was harassed into suicide after his return to the U.S. by the likes of Admiral James Stockdale, who tried to get Peace Committee members hanged for treason.

    Many? How many? Abel Larry Kavanaugh was accused of being a collaborator with their captors. Charges were dropped against him, even though many of the POWs reported that Kavanaugh did indeed receive preferential treatment from the prison guards and some reports were made of his propaganda broadcasts urging other Americans to throw down their weapons and desert to the NVA. He was a Marine Corporal who was captured in April, 1968 and released during Operation Homecoming. He killed himself in June, 1973 – his pall bearers were also accused of being collaborators, but charges were never brought against any of them.

    So basically, what I’m saying is that Perstein is probably the worst historian to touch a keyboard. This is probably just clickbait for the stank-ass hippies who still hate Nixon (and there’s a little bit of BDS in his piece, for the youngsters, too).

    By the way, Perlstein was born in 1969, so he knows more about the Vietnam War and the POWs than you know because he read it in a book once.
