  • Blast From The Past – Shane Kunzeman; phony Army Ranger

This week’s Blast From the Past “winner” is Shane Kunzeman, phony Army Ranger.

Shane paraded himself as an Army Ranger, Special Operations, PSYOP, etc. In some of his correspondences, he insisted on the reader’s calling him so that “he can go into more detail”. Why not simply go into more detail in the correspondence?

Well, as you can see below, things can get screen captured.

Turned out that he was regular supply, and that he simply did not exercise good judgment. He did what he wanted to do, at the expense of what he was supposed to do, and lied about things to prop himself up for his own benefit.

Well, after his lies were exposed, he jumped in and played the martyr:

Naturally, when the exposed phony/embellisher jumps onto a thread like this, you guys can predict what would happen.

During the exchange, he tried to BS the site into taking down the post on him. Continuing to play the martyr, he tried to make it sound like we were being cruel to the veterans that he was trying to help. He also attempted to paint a picture of us putting his family through an experience they didn’t need to go through.

His commentary and action on the other thread about him, as well as his actions in the organizations he was at, have one common denominator. He refused to accept responsibility for his own action. He also refused to view himself in an image other than how he actually viewed himself.

Eventually, he gave up trying to get the post on him taken down. He disappeared for a few months until he showed up again. On May 25, 2018, he wrote:

Hopefully I can get things back on track for my family and future. As honestly all I want to do is help people from the bottom of my heart. I have learned many lessons in this company and with veterans. I can assure you that I am deeply sorry. God bless.
    Shane

Once again, he attempted to play the martyr. He attempted to BS us into thinking that our actions, and the site’s keeping the post on him up, contributed to his life changing for the worse. He appears to still want the post about him to be taken down.

The passage of time did not stop him from accepting responsibility for his own actions and moving on from there.

On November 19, 2018 someone wrote:

    Thank you!

This appears to be a sock puppet username, as it is very personal on behalf of Shane Kunzeman. It’s very defensive, especially with the “I have the commendations” remark. Once again, this individual shows that Shane Kunzeman refuses to take ownership of his actions.

If this is Shane Kunzeman himself, then he truly is not apologetic.

According to someone that served with him, Shane Kunzeman spent most of his time in the front leading rest position. For the non-Army types, this is the position that someone takes for doing push-ups. Also, they determined that the quality of his service didn’t warrant his receiving an ETS award.

What’s even funnier is how he made a point with Shane, with regards to the actual parting gift that he received.

Carlos pointed out, as we have noted in the post about him, that Shane brought all this upon himself.

Here’s what Jonn said in his original article:

    Our partners at Military Phonies send us their work on this fellow, Shane Kunzeman, who operates a resume writing business called Your New Life. For some reason, he thought it would be a good idea that he should become an Army Ranger, but he came to that conclusion after he left the Army, you know, when it was too late for him to attend training or to be assigned to a Ranger unit;

    He did spend less than three and a half years on active duty as a 92A automated logistical specialist in an aviation unit in Germany. The he spent about a year and a half in the Army Reserves and he worked at the Asymmetric Warfare Group (AWP) as a logistics contractor;

No training or assignments that would make him a Ranger, not even parachutist qualified.

  • Cops Display Sense of Humor on New Years Eve

Krispy Kreme 2 by Lexington Police Department.

New Years Eve. You could feel the massive excitement coming from humanity. Your mind goes in different directions pondering what the final hours of the old year will be like. This excitement increases as the new year gets closer.

But, when you have many people drinking alcohol, you have the potential for things to go south. Certain professions require their professionals to be on duty, ready to put their training to work on New Years Eve, and into the New Year.

Police officers are among these professionals. These police officers, across multiple police departments, take an opportunity to display humor.

    From Fox News:

A few Kentucky cops went viral for mourning the loss of a truckload of doughnuts.

The driver of a Krispy Kreme doughnut truck noticed his vehicle was smoking on New Year’s Eve, so he called 911.

And while the driver was able to safely escape before fire crews arrived and flames engulfed the truck, the doughnuts didn’t make it.

Moral support came from other police departments, more from Fox News:

“No words,” the officers wrote, and their colleagues from across the nation – from Colorado to Chicago – were quick to respond with messages of support.

“We feel your loss,” the University of Kentucky Police Department wrote. “We donut what else to say.”

  • Happy New Year!

Happy New Year 2019 with colorful fireworks – From Happy New Year 2019 dot net.

Happy New Year to your family, to your friends, and to you, members of TAH! Here’s hoping that you see success in your endeavors this year and beyond.

  • New Years Open Thread

From Austin Food Magazine, New Years Eve Champagne

Well, here we are on the eve of a new year! Another year has come and gone. This past 365 days has been a mixed bag of enjoyment, sorrow, and emotions in between. Here’s wishing you guys a happy new year ahead.

For those planning to get liquored up in conjunction with welcoming the new year, here’s the water tip. This should be a refresher for some.

For every volume of wine, champagne, and beer that you drink, drink an equal volume of water. For every volume of liquor, drink twice the volume of water. Partying the rest of the year away with wine, beer, liquor, etc., adds to the enjoyment and excitement ringing in the new year.

But, no need to spend the first day of the New Year in misery.

This does work. Every time I’ve used this, not only did I get the same enjoyment that I did not using this technique, but I had good quality sleep, real sleep. I woke up as if I didn’t even drink any alcoholic beverages the night before.

Additional recommendation? Include Gatorade somewhere in the sequence. These have worked for me, variations of this have worked for others.

Stay safe tonight, we look forward to you guys coming back in the new year.

  • Should President Trump Give in?

    Orange Man Bad

More leftists demonstrate their lack of understanding of the game President Trump is playing. He’s playing chess. Not only is he considering each move, but several moves ahead for each move he considers.

The opposition? They’re not even playing checkers.

Folks, not familiar with the art of making a deal, criticize an expert deal maker. Their experience stems from commenting from their computers.

In this first quote, from the thread starter, President Trump is criticized for not taking action to end the shutdown:

    Originally posted by MineralMan:

Just funding for government operations. That’s what the CR bill should be in any case. Trump’s in a snit. He may veto such a bill and continue the shutdown, all over his stupid Wall.

He is going to absolutely OWN this shutdown. It is, and will be, on his head. How long will he maintain that shutdown? Who can say? Perhaps until he is impeached and removed by the new Congress. Now, that’s something I would enjoy seeing.

A Republican Senate working with a Democrat House against President Trump? Apparently, MineralMan doesn’t pay attention to news that matters. Word from the Senate shows consistency with the President.

And, just how is a Democrat House going to remove President Trump?

Without realizing it, one of those that responded touched on President Trump’s success with regards to defining the argument:

Whether it’s the responsibility of the Democrats, or that of President Trump, the later wins. The Democrats are willing to spend more than 5 billion dollars on other programs, but seem to want to fight over the issue of allocating 5 billion dollars for the wall.

Well, they laughed at President Trump’s comments about getting Mexico to pay for the wall. Not happening, right? Well, our next contestant is insisting that is precisely what he should do:

    Originally posted by Achilleaze:

Why hold US taxpayers hostage? The republicans promised Mexico would pay for it. Now he wants $5 billion of our tax money to pay for it? Bullshit. He needs to shut up, let America be America, and stick to his stupid promise to make Mexico pay for his stupid wall.

Chances are that this individual wants the government to spend money on one or more of the Democrat’s favorite social programs… And not on something that’s make it easier for Border Patrol to control movement into the United States.

Would this guy tell the families, of those killed by illegal immigrants, that a border wall is stupid?

This next guy has us “figured out”. We “didn’t” independently come to our conservative conclusions based on a collection of facts, information trends, etc. We “needed” a hot blonde woman to tell us what to think:

    Originally posted by LiberalLovinLug:

But that is not a big enough demographic to guarantee an election win. Sure, they also cheat, and use enemies of the US against their competition, but Trump needs more than that this time.

As with any other leftist, LiberaLovinLug argued a bunch of talking points. If conservatives were allowed to advance a conservative argument on Democratic Underground, this poster wouldn’t be able to defend that position. Other posters on that site wouldn’t be able to effectively defend their positions either.

  • Democrats Continue to Run into President Trump’s Traps

I heard a story about how Sailors did swim call, in the middle of the ocean, with man eating sharks not that far away. The claim? They would locate a shark and then shoot it. It bled. Eventually, the blood attracted other sharks.

The other sharks came in and ate that bleeding shark. In the feeding frenzy that followed, sharks ripped each other up and created more bleeding. Result? More sharks joined the frenzy. The turbulence, occurring in the water, ended up masking the turbulence created by sailors swimming near the ship.

I never saw this play out while I was in the Navy. Safety was paramount. Whether this is urban legend, or has actually been tried before, it’s underlying concept relates to President Trump’s apparent strategy.

Throughout his campaign, and then into his presidency, President Trump utilized his understanding of the media, and its audiences, to “shoot sharks”. The media goes into a frenzy every time he does this.

During this frenzy, President Trump continues forward with his objectives.

He knows that he has not done anything wrong. However, he also knows that his detractors will stop at nothing to follow a fool’s errand. Their “El Dorado” and their “Fountain of Youth” happens to be President Trump’s removal.

The left is blinded in their drive to portray President Trump in unrealistic terms. These efforts, driven by emotion, ties up energy that otherwise could be used to derail President Trump’s plans.

    From CNN:

While Democrats publicly talk up their interest in focusing on legislative priorities like health care and voting rights — not to mention ending the ongoing partial government shutdown — they are quietly preparing for what will likely be the largest congressional investigation of a sitting president in recent memory. Party leaders and committee chairs have spent months ironing out potential targets, from President Donald Trump’s taxes and business dealings to the conduct of current and former Cabinet members.

Just like the Mueller investigation, a soon to be Democrat-controlled house is going to spend a lot of time investigating. However, they will turn up shorthanded. By then, President Trump will have paid out enough rope for the Democrats to hang themselves with in the 2020 presidential elections.

Take this fiasco with regards to his tax returns. This could be something that he could’ve released without worry. However, he has a background in entertaining audiences. A part of that equation involves knowing viewer psychology.

His refusal to release his tax returns could be a ploy… A trap. Refuse to release, and watch your adversaries stumble over themselves trying to force that release.

If the House succeeds in getting his tax returns, what the Democrats discover may prove embarrassing to them and beneficial to President Trump.

    More from CNN:

Neal — a business-minded Democrat who has earned a reputation as a willing negotiator — had hoped Trump would be willing to negotiate and turn over his tax returns without a fight. But in recent weeks, comments from Trump’s allies have made it clear that asking nicely would be a waste of time. A source close to the process told CNN that Neal was prepared to make a formal request to the Treasury Department in the new Congress. When that would take place was still undecided.

The mainstream media, and the Democrats, continue to refuse to learn from their mistakes. With all other things being equal, they’re looking for a repeat of the disappointment they felt when the last presidential election was called for then candidate Donald Trump.
