Ban on female genital mutilation ruled unconstitutional

A federal judge in Chicago has ruled that the US law against female genital mutilation is unconstitutional, dismissing charges against eight people, including two doctors.

District Judge Bernard Friedman said “Congress overstepped its bounds” by outlawing the practice known as female circumcision, or cutting.

Friedman said it was up to states rather than Congress to regulate the practice.

The ruling dismissed mutilation and conspiracy charges against Dr. Jumana Nagarwala, who performed the surgery, and Dr. Fakhruddin Attar.

The doctors were charged in the genital mutilation of nine girls at a suburban Detroit clinic.

In addition, the same charges were dismissed against Attar’s wife, Farida, and Tahera Shafiq, who assisted in the procedure, as well as four women who took their daughters to the clinic.

Most religious people I know are fairly normal despite their disability. (/sarc)  However, some people take their religious ideas a bit too far.  I don’t really care if someone thinks they can dance with snakes, they are only going to hurt themselves.  If a group of people thinks they are made genetically superior to everyone else by an invisible sky daddy,  I don’t really care what kind of  “ish” they call themselves.

I take parental rights very seriously and believe the Federal, State, and local government tends to tread upon those rights all too often.   When women take their own daughters to have their clitoris  cut out … I believe they are NOT mentally competent.  They have shown that they are non compos mentis.  I defend the right of my fellow citizen to worship as they choose…to a point.  Mutilating little girls is just a wee bit beyond that point.

Islam is a disease of the mind.

Five inmates charged with stealing $560K from military personnel in online dating extortion scheme | Daily Mail Online

Antwine Lamar Matthews, Rakeem Spivey, Jimmy Dunbar Jr, Wendell Wilkins and David Paul Dempsey have been indicted on federal charges including extortion and wire fraud.

Five inmates in South Carolina extorted some $560,000 from hundreds of service members by using contraband cellphones to pose as underage women on dating sites, authorities say.

Standing in front of a state prison on Wednesday in Columbia, US Attorney Sherri Lydon told reporters that Antwine Lamar Matthews, Rakeem Spivey, Jimmy Dunbar Jr, Wendell Wilkins and David Paul Dempsey had been indicted on federal charges including extortion and wire fraud.

Ten others throughout the Carolinas have been charged with helping the inmates collect extortion payments via services including Western Union or PayPal.

According to court documents, inmates used contraband phones to join dating websites, pretending to be women as they contacted and exchanged nude images with military personnel throughout the country.

For $560,000 you can call me and I will pretend to be anything you want … just sayin.

Once the targets had been reeled in, inmates then posed as an authority figure, such as a father or police officer, claiming the girl with whom the victim had been communicating was underage and demanding money to keep the exchanges private, according to Drew Goodridge of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

Fearful they’d be accused of disseminating child pornography, possibly losing their military careers, more than 442 service members handed over more than $560,000 total between September 2015 and January 2018, authorities said.

Keeping our naughty conversations confidential is included in the price.

The inmates involved were identified in five federal indictments released Wednesday, according to WIS10. The indictments are outlined below:

    • Between September 2015 and December 2017, victims wired more than $29,000 to Malcom Cooper, Andreika Mouzon and Flossie Brockington, who transferred the money to Antwine Lamar Matthews and other inmates, sometimes taking a cut
    • Roselyn Pratt helped inmate Rakeem Spivey fraudulently collect more than $5,000 in 2016
    • Mitchlene Padgett helped inmate Jimmy Dunbar Jr extort nearly $30,000 between May 2016 and December 2017
    • Jalisa Thompson, of Spartanburg, and Tiffany Reed, of Charlotte, helped inmate Wendell Wilkins obtain at least $80,000 from military personnel between February 2016 and January 2018. Thompson and Reed, as well as Brandon Thompson and Laben McCoy, then laundered the money
    • Edgar Jermaine Hosey, of Aiken, helped inmate David Paul Dempsey extort money from military personnel between May 2016 and December 2017

You can read all about these poor military victims at the link below.  Not sure if they have a GoFundMe set up yet.  Poor guys, they are all guys right?

  • Peter Helton – Phony Wounded Ranger Scout Sniper

Peter Helton – Phony Wounded Ranger Scout Sniper

The folks at Military Phony send us their work on this Peter Thomas Helton fellow.

It is difficult to make out, but it appears that in the photo above that Helton has the 75th Ranger Regiment on his left arm, but oddly, no jump wings or air assault badge. He also appears to have a 1st ID patch on his right arm.

Helton claims he was in the US Army for 8 years, as a “scout sniper.”

He claimed to have lived near a lot of Army bases.

He also claims that he was the recipient of two (2) Purple Hearts.

He also has a RANGER plate on his jeep.

A search for his military records consistently comes up with one thing – a null result.

We think that he served in an Indiana State level military unit.  That said, if Helton would have gone to Army sniper school, or had any Ranger schools, it would have shown up on his NPRC records.

Helton is in the security industry, as depicted above in the photo.  We see he was charged with a felony a while back but we are still looking for a conviction on record which would preclude him from carrying a firearm.

Maybe there are some more records out there somewhere, we just can’t find any official military records to back up any of his nonsense.  One would think a guy with two Purple Hearts would want to clear this all up.

Florida man arrested for stolen valor, posed as decorated Marine vet – USMC Life

The Marine Corps League seems to be coming around to the fact that they might have some posers in their ranks.

A legit member of the Marine Corps League has taken up the cause to expose and prosecute these Valor Vultures.  I called the national headquarters of the Marine Corps League several times during the past year to encourage them.  I doubt much would have come of it without the dedication and resolve of several honorable Marines.  I am encouraged that there are still men of honor in this world.  Semper Fidelis to those who stayed the course on this case and did the right thing in the face of those who doubted them.

Cary Falor Blake Haerlin, 56, of Port St. Lucie was arrested on Nov. 25 and charged with unlawful use of uniforms medals or insignia, third degree grand theft and uttering a forged instrument.

From about 2008, Haerlin has portrayed himself as being a decorated veteran of the U.S. Marines and has served as the Judge Advocate for the Department of Florida, Marine Corps League, Inc.  Initially he joined the General A. A. Vandegrift  Detachment 068, and during about 2010 transferred to LCpl. Justin J. Wilson Detachment 1045.  As the Department of Florida’s Judge Advocate he had the responsibility to uphold League Bylaws and regulations, investigate formal cases of alleged wrongdoing and conduct official League Hearings; with an annual stipend of $2,500.00.  Haerlin’s ‘less than honorable’ discharge status would have prohibited his League membership, but his forged DD-214 facilitated his unlawful joining.

It seems this Valor Vulture is getting the attention he so desperately deserves.

Jim Jones and Cam’ron, who are two members of the four-member group, wore what appeared to be U.S. Navy jackets while singing on stage at the Apollo Theater in Harlem over the weekend.

I don’t think most “Vets” are outraged at this kind of grabasstic nonsense, most probably just think its silly.  These wannabe Rap clowns just want to be seen in the news, they could care less how they get there.

  • Some mornings I just love this site.

I got up at Zero Dark Thirty to finalize this years battle plan for the War on Christmas and some prissy little gay white boy insisted on sending us an early present.

WARNING: THIS TWINKLE TOED LIBTARD USES LANGUAGE THAT MIGHT OFFEND YOU JESUS LOVING ALT RIGHT TUMPTARDS.   YOU MIGHT WANT TO PLAY THIS ALONE IN A DARK QUIET PLACE.

I also noticed that Hillary finally confessed to her crimes:

In an interview over the weekend, Hillary Clinton continued to deny any wrongdoing in the various controversies she was involved with during her time as Secretary of State and the 2016 Democratic candidate, claiming her only crime was “stealing the hearts of the American people.”

The interviewer asked Clinton if she was guilty of any of the myriad accusations against her when she admitted to being “100% guilty” of being America’s sweetheart.

“If being an extremely likable person beloved by every true American is a crime, then lock me up!” she said, laughing. “I’m guilty on all counts! Put me away for years! Throw me in the dungeon and toss the key in the garbage!”

She also confessed to lesser crimes of being “a woman of the people” and “extremely relatable.”

“I can’t help it if I’m just really good at connecting with the common man, who may only own two or three modest homes and wear suits worth less than $1,000,” she said. “I’m just that really down-to-earth kind of person, and you can’t blame me for that. It’s just who I am, fam!”

You people need to be more understanding and compassionate.  Apparently,  you just don’t understand anything.  Try to play nice.

Gretchen Evens; a never Ending Embellishing Embarrassment

We posted about Gretchen Evens HERE.   Few things make me do the double facepalm more than a veteran with perfectly honorable service who decides to disgrace themselves.  She obviously did not get the memo to STFU about her phony feats of daring-do.

If Gretchen Evans ever decided to have a little fun with her resumé, it would be some fantastic reading.

It could easily say: “Deadly accurate grenade thrower, former spy, accomplished marathon runner and occasional owl rescuer who gave birth in an Army field hospital and led men in battle on numerous occasions before nearly dying in a mortar strike seeks to make your organization an amazing operation.”

“I am a badass,” Evans said with a laugh, sitting in her comfortable Enka home, which she shares with her husband, Robert. “I’m crazy bad.”

Jonn expressed a particular kind of fondness for her.   I take no joy in announcing that a Sergeant Major is full of  S#**.   You can read the entire article published by a gullible clown too lazy to use Google if you wish…   HERE.
