Phone comms with WW this evening, he’s sounding tired but still in the game. Has some issues with hospital staff, but fortunately MrsAW1, who has been a health care professional for years, took the phone and had a nice chat. Provided good advice on how to handle slow reactive hospital staff. Seems the magic words are Patient Advocate and Case Manager.
Anyway, Willy is still with us, and has another procedure Tuesday/Wednesday. He said he’d call me when he can, and hopefully put these health issues in his wake.
So break out the joss sticks, roll the dice, light the candles, rum shots with skulls, say a prayer, spark up a stogie, send karma, good thoughts, or whatever gets you through the night. I’m omni-religious- whatever works for you is cool with me. Mostly. Certain other practices are not. Discussion for another day perhaps.
The good news is Willy is still on this side, so keep him in your thoughts.
