Duncan Hunter had Withdrawl Problems.

There was a time when the general public hardly noticed the Silver Spoon up Hunter’s ass.  Little Duncan tried to play the role of being a champion for Veteran issues in Washington.  It really sucks when we have to tell one of our own to STFU already.

Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-California, and his wife, Margaret, arrived separately at a San Diego courthouse Thursday for an arraignment at which they both entered “not guilty” pleas to charges of using $250,000 in campaign fundsfor vacations, groceries and $600 air travel for a pet rabbit, among other personal expenditures.

“I feel good,” Hunter said as he brushed past reporters and a small group of protesters at the federal courthouse who chanted “Lock him up” and “Shame, shame.”

Over the past few years, I have called and emailed young Hunter many times.  He has hidden behind female staffers and refused to man up to anything.  His father had a reputation for being corrupt and his son appears to be carrying on the family tradition.

Bail was set at $15,000 for Hunter and $10,000 for Margaret Hunter at the brief arraignment, and a hearing in the case was scheduled for Sept. 4. Duncan Hunter was also ordered by the court to surrender his personal weapons by Monday, local ABC 10 News reported.

In a time when we need strong Conservative leaders that are capable we have to deal with the likes of Hunter.  I talked with the campaign manager of his opponent in the upcoming election and urged him to refrain from using the usual leftist loons for endorsements.

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a Democrat and potential 2020 presidential contender, used Twitter on Tuesday to urge her supporters to donate to his campaign. Joe Trippi, a Democratic strategist working for Campa-Najjar, said the campaign has seen a spike in fundraising and volunteers.

Speaking with reporters in San Francisco, House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi called Campa-Najjar a great candidate but was noncommittal about diverting party funds to a district whose voters still “may decide their desire for a tax cut overcomes everything else.”

Leftist loons will just be goofy even when you try to help them.  Sadly, Duncan will probably leave a shit stain all the way to DC after the election.  I tried to explain to the Campa campaign that being the grandson of a terrorist and constantly bashing Trump were not issues that would get them elected in a Conservative community.

From 2009-2016, the Hunters “spent substantially more than they earned,” and used campaign funds to make up the difference as they skirted insolvency, the indictment said.

“They overdrew their bank accounts more than 1,100 times in a seven-year period resulting in approximately $37,761 in ‘overdraft’ and ‘insufficient funds’ bank fees,” the indictment charged.

At one point, after withdrawing $20 from his personal bank account, Hunter was left with a balance of $15.02, the indictment said.

That is not the kind of responsible leader we need in DC.  Shame on the Republican Party for not replacing this embarrassment.  I am betting that the Crook will win over the Commie.  I just need to make sure young Duncan spends most of his time Burning Shitters and doesn’t try to be my Champion.

DUNCAN HUNTER – I am still waiting on that return phone call you promised…you GD coward, turn in your EGA.

  1. The “Politics” category tag actually fits the post, but “Slimy Bastard” would work, too.

    1. I would add a few categories to that lineup if I could, but there’s no place for me to do that. 🙂

      1. I guess I didn’t know enough about the man? I always thought of him as one of the good guys? hate it when that happens!

  2. Having been a congressional staffer for an Illinois congressman, as a veteran I worked exclusively on veteran’s issues. I had the opportunity to meet Rep. Hunter several times, and requested his assistance with a high profile veteran;’s issue.

I found him to be full of himself. As for his assistance with the issue, still waiting…

    1. It seems the only redeeming thing he did was support SFC Martland in his fight against the bullshit QMP and politically correct evaluation he received.

I’m guessing Hunter did that for his own public relations campaign.

  3. Youse just have to read the Mil.com story that is linked above as “STFU already.” He’s a victim! He blames his wife! Hell, he’s so stupid he said that if he spent campaign money illegally, he paid it back. Knucklehead. I guess he doesn’t know that he can’t ‘uncrime’ by repaying the money. Did I mention his arrogance? As Dave said, these criminal charges will not deter him from seeking re-election, Hunter promises. I’m just glad he wasn’t Army. We have enough trouble lately with retirees flapping their gums. No, Duncan belongs to the Marines.

  4. I did the math in the previous thread on this. They were overdrafting 3 times a week!

I do love Pelosi’s lack of any connection whatsoever to the common man: “voters still “may decide their desire for a tax cut overcomes everything else.”” Seriously? She is so dense. How is it anyone can take her seriously?

    1. She’s a broken record wit dementialike symptoms.

I’m not sure she even knows where she is at times.

      1. I’ll bet she is one of the customers of the Capital Pharmacy that delivers to congressional offices.

    2. Because she is a true representative of the people in her district. They are all that batshit looney tunes crazy.

The rest of the democrats don’t mind because she raises money for the DNC substantially well, from people who want influence, favors, exemptions, etc., from elected officials.

  5. The problem with candidates of both main parties is they are like in-laws, you cannot choose them. The filing fee for U.S. Representative is probably $10,000 in California and not many people can afford that kind of money to run against an incumbent. Perhaps if the indictment came before the primary Hunter would have been opposed. Either way constituents are screwed by him not getting elected or getting elected, convicted, leaving office and Governor Moonbeam appointing his replacement.

    1. Would’ve been nice if the feds served the indictment BEFORE the primaries so someone could potentially jump in.

      Come on Feds!

      1. With California’s wacky jungle primary system, it probably wouldn’t have mattered when the indictment came in. He very well could have qualified for the ballot if he was sitting in prison.

      2. Why would the commies in kalifornia do anything that might help republicans? They never even considered serving the indictment before the primaries imhl!

  6. one wonders what else we haven’t yet heard about. officers in that much financial distress make for easy targets; shudder to think what other secrets are waiting to come pouring out here. this does not happen in a vacuum.

    1. It was a cozy little thang he had going. Wifey was the campaign manager at $2,000/month and handled the money. She and he were cautioned by the treasurer that the smell wafting from the campaign account was bad. Wifey seems not to have been worried. After all, hubby was a Congressman and the son of one! Well, they’re out on bail now. I wonder where they got the money for that.

      1. Rumored but unconfirmed word is wifey may be performing an act involving a donkey in a bar across the border for pocket money. Quite popular with sailors I hear. The donkey that is.

  7. Comments sound like lover’s next-morning remorse. Is this a Doonsbury cartoon from 1972 — “That’s guilty, guilty, guilty.”

  8. I suspect it will be very difficult to find a true conservative republican who is willing to run for office out of PDRC. Thus this is what we are getting.

      1. time to face facts. There are no conservative parties in the USA. Never has been.

The defeat of Goldwater in 1964 “taught” the Republicans that conservatism is unpopular. The leftward shift matches the leftward lurch of the Democrats leaving us with two leftist parties fighting over whose cronies will be fatted at the public trough.

In fact, the only true difference between the two parties is the fact that the Republicans will tolerate libertarians and conservatives while the Democrats tolerate only true believers at this point.

Note that the turmoil within the Democratic party is one of purity while the turmoil in the Republican party is over ethics.

As for corruption, other than the true zealots, it is a fact of politics as old as Hammurabi himself.

  9. Is the saddest part of all this, typical of the type of Congress Critters we have in the swamp, or the grandson of an alleged murdering communist terrorist has the potential to be elected to become a Congress Critter? We were in ETO during the Munich deal, and it was kinda tense for a bit. Almost as tense as the Yom Kipper ’73. I guess we do have the government that we deserve. FIRE THEM ALL!!! DRAIN THE SWAMP!!!

  10. 1100 times in 7 years? I think I’ve been overdrawn ONCE in the last 30, and IIRC, that was due to a brainfart in transposing two numbers, but I shifted money from savings to cover the shortfall.

And we trust these fuckers with our taxes? Yeah, no.

  11. Surprising he didn’t figure out how to make himself a multi-millionaire while being a politician like so many of them have.

      1. In light of the fact that Congresscritters are largely exempt from insider trading laws, congresscritters have to be radioactive stupid to get burned for it.

  12. I have to tie some of Hunter’s fuckery in with the Fat Leonard scandal. Maybe it’s a Navy-Marines-San Diego thing. A sense of entitlement. “Of course we are entitled to supplement our base pay with whatever we can get our hands on, or corrupt actors are offering”.

  13. Duncan’s old man had the withdrawal problem. He did not pull it out in time and low and behold out came Duncan. Good Lord I hope he don’t have no kids. How do we manage to elect such riff raff? And not just from california where it is completely understandable.
