From Graves County, Tennessee;
An elderly homeowner shot and killed one of three suspects after he was robbed and assaulted, according to the Kentucky State Police.
The story came together after authorities say the shooting victim, 46-year-old Timothy Roper, showed up to the Jackson Purchase Medical Center at 9:30 p.m.
Roper died at the hospital, police said.
An investigation revealed he was one of three suspects who forced their way into a home on McNeil Road in Boaz late Monday night.
The homeowner, an elderly man, was reportedly robbed and assaulted before he shot Roper in the upper torso.
From San Antonio, Texas;
The owner of the car wash found a person breaking into the room where a money vault is located. The owner then pulled out a gun and fired several shots, hitting the suspect, according to investigators.
The suspect was taken to North Central Baptist Hospital, but was then airlifted to University Hospital to undergo surgery.
Police said the owner who fired the shots told them he was in fear for his life.
From St Paul, Minnesota;
Police say a man pulled a gun on another man and tried to rob him. The would-be victim then pulled out a gun and shot the robber.
The suspect was taken to Regions Hospital, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The man who shot the suspect had a permit to carry a gun.

“Graves County”…..how appropriate.
And another WOT right in my home of Saint Paul.
Roper tried being ruthless…in Boaz…oh, the irony.
How come the criminal element seems to have such a high casualty rate?
It’s a threefer here, and these mopes aren’t very successful at their chosen line of work.
Does anyone besides me think there’s some kind of message here?
I’m guessing their college career counselor led them astray?
I mean, lets be honest….its a saturated career field.
Well, the phrase “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes” comes to mind . . . .
“Victim?” Timothy Roper is hardly a victim of anything other than his own bad decisions.
Mutter, mumble…
