Tuesday morning feel good stories

From Chicago, Illinois;

The investigation revealed that [Clinton] Brown went to the home to confront an ex-girlfriend, police said. He forced his way into the home, fired multiple shots and was shot in the leg when someone inside the home returned fire in self-defense.

Brown was taken to the hospital and subsequently taken into custody, police said. No other injuries were reported and no one that was inside the home at the time will be criminally charged.

From Chattanooga, Tennessee;

Robert Fitzgerald Brown, 36, of 2509 Chamberlain Ave., is charged with aggravated burglary, burglary, two counts of theft of property and criminal impersonation.

In an incident at 1:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at 2415 E. Main. An officer located Brown at the intersection of E. Main and South Watkins Street. He was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper left chest.

Brown was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he gave his name as Jason Hines. It turns out that Jason Hines is serving time in prison.

  1. Pleasant surprise that no one inside the home will be criminally charges for defending himself, especially in the Kenyan’s old stomping ground.

    How many shots fired?
    What caliber ?
    Hollow point or fmj?
    Model of gun?
    How are we know what to choose for home defense if they don’t give us the rest of the story
