In Montgomery County, Maryland a homeowner encountered a burglar in his home and fired a shot at him. The police found him nearby with a life-threatening gun shot wound.

A person’s business is his livelihood. To threaten that is to threaten him. One dope tried it and died where he fell. In another instance, a home burglar now has a life threatening gunshot wound because of his stupidity.
They just won’t learn to leave “our” stuff alone.
Not sure the Washington case is going to turn out well for the business owner, FC. He’s facing 2nd degree murder charges – and based on the info in the linked article, those charges might be justified.
Gotta agree with Hondo. Anytime you have opportunity to leave, go get a gun, come back, and blast away at an unarmed intruder without having called the police first, you’ve got an uphill battle justifying killing them.

In a normal society with semi normal people with some sense of honor, and sense of right and wrong…a man has every right in the world to protect whats his and what he has worked hard for….to remove a wart on the ass of society trying to steal his stuff, should entitled him to a “Good Citizen Award” IMHO

and in NY, a guy who fired shots at two masked men trying to kidnap his girlfriend has been arrested – cops claim he is gang affiliated and endangered the neighborhood. Guess he shoulda let her be kidnapped.
HOPEFULLY, he didn’t speak to the police UNTIL he had a lawyer BUT I don’t think that happened. The police are SUPPOSEDLY saying they don’t THINK he warned the guy before shooting him and OTHER LIBTARD lefty bullshit. We’ll see what happens. HONESTLY, as much as I hate what happened to the guys house, HE wasn’t in danger IF he could LEAVE and get a gun from another house. He SHOULD have called the police immediately after leaving the initial confrontation. NO matter what anyone JUST SAYS, it’s hard to take too much of a threat from a naked dude in the shower. Just sayin…..
