From San Marcos, California;
A sheriff’s deputy fatally shot an intruder at a home in a San Marcos gated community early Thursday, authorities said.
The burglar tried to escape in the owner’s car, then got into a confrontation with deputies in the driveway, sheriff’s Lt. Greg Rylaarsdam said.
One deputy fired his pistol and a second deputy almost simultaneously fired a shotgun beanbag round at the man. He died outside the home, Rylaarsdam said.
In Amite, Louisiana;
According to the Sheriff’s Office, [Dequincy Jackson, 36] entered the residence on Richardson Road around 9:30 p.m. and encountered a man who demanded he leave.
Jackson and the man, a 25-year-old Roseland resident who was a guest in the home, got into a fight, resulting in Jackson being shot in the leg.

It is a fact that if you threaten someone, you could get shot, fatally. Two instances of legally armed people who wouldn’t back down from a threat, and chose to defend themselves. Thuggery is such a stupid vocation.
Dequincy Jackson? They meant to name him Delinquency. Parents better take note that if you put a Q in your kids name, the chances of him being shot while committing a felony increases by 79%. Add in a few random apostrophes, and it’s a sure thing.
