Wednesday morning feel good stories

A burglar was shot in Tampa, Florida when a woman was alerted by her alarm system of his entry and a family member arrived on the scene before the police. The criminal is being treated for his serious injuries. According to The Patch, the family member was her father who saw something in the criminal’s hands that made him fear for his life and that he fired in self-defense.

In Richland County, South Carolina at some place called The Obama Store, an armed thief demanded money from the clerk who had his own gun. The clerk used the gun to dissuade the thief who ran out of the store firing a few ineffective shots to cover his escape.

Wilmer McClellan forced his way into a Glasgow, Pennsylvania home. He had told the homeowner that he needed to report an accident near the home, but when the resident passed him a cell phone, McClellan forced his way into the home threatening to kill the homeowner. The resident drew his holstered weapon and fired in self-defense. McClellan was DRT (dead right there).

  1. I’m guessing that there will be a forced name change at the Obama store once word gets out that the employees are armed and that they aren’t handing out cell phones.

  2. Pennsylvania, despite all its warts, is more pro-gun than Texas.

Criminals from communist NJ, MD and NY usually fail to understand that.

Shall issue CCW that cost $45
    No “scary looking” gun bans
    Lots of hunters
Most DAs that are pretty pro gun

When I first moved here a homeowner went outside his house to shoot an intruder trying to break in. The local DA pressed no charges.

  3. So stupid tricks, win stupid prizes.

Oh, there’s some city councilwoman in Chicago now who wants companies that produce ammunition (bullets) to put serial numbers on them so that they can be traced. Yeah, that’s going to stop a lot of crimes. Lots of them.
