Thursday morning feel good stories

A homeowner in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, encountered two men in his home after they broke his window to enter the home. He ordered them out at gunpoint and they complied. Police are still looking for the thieves.

A man in Houston, Texas, tried to break into a home until the homeowner fired three shots through his door which seemed to discourage him. The police say no one was injured in the exchange.

Three men forced their way into a home in Virginia Beach, Virginia. During the robbery, one criminal shot one of his partners, he was DRT (dead right there).

In Henderson, Nevada, a homeowner’s alarm system sounded. He encountered a criminal in his back yard and fired a shot at him, grazing his forehead. The crook fled the scene, but he was picked up later by police. Two words. Center. Mass.

  1. The Virginia Beach folks should be, and probably all be charged, with felony murder. Meanwhile I read that the waterheads are all atwitter that a getaway driver is about to be executed for that – you can imagine the “but he didn’t even pull the trigger” wailing and gnashing of teeth. The real grievance seems to be that other people who murder don’t get the death sentence… bet we all know to address that particular disparity.

  2. I’m afraid I wouldn’t have been as nice as the PA homeowner. I would have shot first, THEN told them to “scat!”. And when they didn’t move fast enough (because they were shot), I would have shot them again, because “I feared for my life”.
