Wednesday morning feel good stories

A homeowner in St Louis, Missouri had to wrestle a gun away from a burglar in order to shoot him. The criminal is in critical condition. I’ll repeat my warning for these types of situations; don’t depend on the criminal to bring a firearm with him which you can to shoot them – have your own weapon.

In Lubbock, Texas, a bakery delivery driver saw a thief taking his wares out of his truck and loading it into the thief’s car. The delivery man confronted the crook. The crook reached for a gun and the delivery driver, who had a concealed weapon license, drew first and shot the crook in the leg. Police took the criminal to the hospital and the driver went on about his business.

An off-duty cop in Los Fresnos, Texas heard a noise in his back bedroom and encountered a thief there. the crook lunged at him, so the officer took the shot. There’s no word on the condition of the pop-up moving target fellow.

A liquor store owner in North Bellmore, New York followed three shoplifters outside of his store and confronted them. During their conversation, the shop owner had reason to draw his firearm and fire several shots at the thieves. It looks like none were injured and they left the scene on their feet, leaving their car behind. The police say that the use of a firearm was justified.

In Chattanooga, Tennessee, a homeowner heard a soft knock at his door. When he went to check on it, he saw Michael Dewayne Barbee rifling through his girlfriend’s truck. The homeowner went to confront Barbee who started to flee. The homeowner drew his weapon when he saw what looked like a weapon in Barbe’s hands and ordered the crook to the ground and held him at gun point until the police hauled Barbee’s ass off to the hoosegow.

  1. New York it’s time to step up your game, Maryland would have filed charges against the shop owner for unlawfully introducing a hazardous pollutant (lead) into the environment.

  2. We really should make STUPID a felony, punishable by several long years in prison. Some STUPId can earn you a death sentence, and I’m OK with that.

  3. Some of these shootings, the citizen should have taken that one extra shot at the perpetrator, and saved the taxpayers a lot of money in medical care, trial, and incarceration costs. What is the cost of one or two extra rounds, compared to all these other costs?

Remember, citizen, “IT’S FOR THE CHILDREN!”
Let yours be the only story told.

  4. Bakery truck? Ymmmm. I’m thinking Twinkies and moon pies. Was there an RC Cola delivery truck involved in the incident?
