In Columbia, Missouri, in separate incidents two homeowners reported firing warning shots to scare off burglars.
In Kansas City, Missouri, a 17-year-old stole a car and about 15 minutes later, he wrecked the car in an accident with another motorist. So he took off running to avoid the police and tried to break into a house in his escape. During that endeavor, the homeowner shot him twice and the luckless fellow stumbled into the hospital where he was arrested.
“Warning shots”. A waste of expensive ammunition. Unless it’s center mass warning shots. That’s ok.
