Cody Bolesta and his pal wore masks when they went shopping for liquor in Tampa, Florida. The pair pointed their guns at 57-year-old Willie Morris, the clerk. Willie returned the gesture and shot Cody. Bolesta was DRT (dead right there) when the police arrived. His friend is still on the run.

Cody was lookin’ to get hammered. And he got what he was looking for, just not in the way he imagined.
His Facebook is interesting. It looks like the last time that he posted anything was Apr 4, 2012, when he said “just got out dub they trying me as adult bout to go mother f**king (expletive deleted) crazy.” It was followed by a bunch of friends telling him to get his act straight. I guess that he didn’t listen.
Sounds like ole Cody is no loss to this world.

So, he should have been in jail instead of robbing liquor stores. We can thank the judge for that one. Existing gun laws only work when those convicted of existing gun crimes are punished.

Enforce the freaking existing laws – to include those concerning felon-in-possession and falsification of purchase applications – first. That includes sending those found guilty of repeated violations to jail vice “diversion programs” or probation.
