The first story this morning comes from Shreveport, Louisiana, Barry L. Anthony and his grandson were in their home when three men forced their way in. Barry armed himself and was able to bust some caps in two of the criminals before they could un-ass the AO. They were found by the police with non-life threatening injuries.
In Las Vegas, Nevada, a man confronted some burglars who were plying their trade at his neighbor’s house with a camera in one hand and his gun in the other. The criminals un-assed the AO before police arrived.
An off duty cop went to fill up his car at a convenience store in Newark, New Jersey and interrupted a robbery putting lead into one of the two criminals.
No DOT or DRT. Oh well we can’t have home runs every time at bat.
Maybe the criminals are catching on that more folks are armed? Nah. But we can hope.
