AW1Ed sends us our first story this morning, it’s from New Orleans, Louisiana where Douglas Moody tried to win back his ex-girlfriend by pounding on her new beau. The new boyfriend wasn’t much of a fighter, so he gunned Moody down with a shotgun. The police got there in time to take him to the hospital for wounds to his head, neck and chest where he’ll remain until he moves into his new accommodations at the Jefferson Parish hoosegow.
In Huntington, West Virginia, William Hedrick is looking at eight years in prison after he was shot in the torso by a homeowner who caught him breaking into a home. He was chased by the homeowner and some neighbors, then held at gunpoint until the police arrived.
In Louisville, Kentucky Deontae Yarnell has been charged with murder for killing Deandrae Murphy last August when Yarnell found Murphy in his home. The prosecutor claims that Murphy was fleeing when he was killed inside Yarnell’s home. Yarnell’s lawyers claim that Murphy was killed in self defense.
