In Dallas, Texas, a homeowner saw some enterprising young folks trying to cash in on his wheels on his vehicle, so Mister Spoil Sport, thinking he saw a gun, opened fire on the group, who fled in another vehicle. Mr Meany Homeowner thinks he may have hit at least one of hard-working young people.
In Plactias, New Mexico, a 59-year-old homeowner struggled with an intruder for the intruder’s gun. When he finally wrested the firearm from the bad guy, he proceeded to ventilate the fellow. Neighbors reported hearing several gun shots. The intruder was DRT (dead right there) and the homeowner went to the hospital to get his own injuries from the altercation treated. It’s nice when the bad guys bring the tool for their ultimate demise with them to the scene of the crime.

Two things:
1) Good for the guy deterring those thieves.
2) It’s always nice reading about someone taking a gun from a criminal, especially when the criminal spends the rest of their life wondering why they brought the weapon that killed them.
I favor bringing my own gun to a gun fight. It’s a lot less work and I know that mine is loaded.

A nice, hot, cup of Cuban Coffee and reading of a bad guy that got killed with his own gun. That would be embarrassing if he had lived to know about it.
Look at the upside, maybe the DRT guy has siblings and they can be reminded of what an incompetent bad guy he was. ?

TRUE sensible Gun Control involves factors like stance, grip, aiming, breathing, and trigger squeeze. One less punk to be fed, clothed, and housed at taxpayers’ expense, I love the DRT stories! I prefer to use MY weapon in any situation because I know it’s properly cleaned, maintained, as well as locked & loaded, but at least it ended up with a goblin being DRT. Enough rambling for now, time for another cup of joe!
I wonder if the New Mexico homeowner gets to keep the DRT perp’s gun as a “war” trophy? Hope so.
