Wednesday morning feel good stories

In Houston, Texas, there was a shoot-out at the All Season Food Store when a customer noticed a fellow climbing to his SUV that he had just fueled up. The customer went out to confront the ambitious fellow, but the thief was armed. So was the truck’s owner. Witnesses say that they heard about thirty shots. One, a Vietnam vet, said he heard the distinctive sound of an AK-47, the preferred weapon of your enemy. Both of the cowboys were injured, but they’re expected to survive. The customer had a concealed carry permit.

In Sacramento, California, a fellow tried to turn his life around by slicing through a screen door, but his efforts went unrewarded when the homeowner fired a gun at him. He quickly un-assed the AO and didn’t leave a trail of blood.

In Olive Branch, Mississippi, Dutchess Gathing was forced to shoot her nephew, Lederrick Branson, when she caught him breaking into her house and he made a motion like he was going to assault her. The police gathered him up and took him to the hospital. it looks like “Odie” will be fine though. I’m glad for Duchess’ sake.

Thanks to Chief Tango for today’s line up.

  1. Well, I declare! A shoot-out, a shot-at, and a Duchess ably defending her kingdom, all in the same news reads.

    Good morning!

  2. OT but no where else to bitch: where would any of us be if we were found to have SCI stuff on us outside of a SCIF? How about at home on our PC and thumb drive?

    1. Hey, I always handle my TS/SCI traffic on my own private email and personal computer server at home. Don’t you? It’s just much more convenient than following all those official procedures at work…

  3. 30 rounds and both are expected to survive? I would be embarassed to be either one of them,..
Fired a gun at him but no blood trail…

Owning a weapon is not enough people, you should be able to point it in an effective direction.
One shot, one kill, and double tap for insurance.

  4. Question is, which one had the AK? If the carjackers are coming up with AKs now, it’s a whole new ballgame.
