Wednesday morning feel good story

Chief Tango sends us a link to our feel good story this morning from Oklahoma City, where Jay Silvernail, a criminal defense attorney, had an altercation with a client, David Scott Smith while Smith was picking up some of Silvernail’s property.

Smith had just left the prison system after two decades for an armed robbery beef and he was still serving some of his parole. I say “was” because when Smith attacked his lawyer, Silvernail shot him and Smith was DRT (dead right there), saving the taxpayers some money. He should have done it a lot sooner. Police say that it was self-defense.

  1. It warms my black heart to see that people are starting to get a good amount of range time.

  2. Those poor taxpayer’s had all that money wasted on room and board for Smith. Such a waste taxpayer’s life’s matter stop wasting them.

  3. Wanna bet that the number of unpaid debts owed to Silvernail suddenly drops?

  4. Ahhh yes! DRT – there’s something poetic about those letters, of which I am sure “Mr.” Smith would disagree.

  5. I guess this is yet another law-abiding citizen that Marty-boi O’Malley thinks deserves seriously injury or death instead of the perp trying to do him violence.

  6. There’s got to be some kind of joke there — criminal lawyer shoots client. (Sorry, whacked sense of humor this morning.)

Good shooting, Mr. Silvernail! I’m glad you’re okay. (Love that name, too.)

  7. A criminal defense attorney against a felon and the felon is DRT. Doesn’t get better. Waiting for B Woodman’s mantra now.
