In Knoxville, Tennessee, a fellow turned his life around by attempting to rob a female clerk with a semi-automatic handgun at the local convenience store. Fortunately, for the clerk, a friend was waiting for her outside and saw the robbery. The friend retrieved his own handgun drilled the fine, upstanding young man and put an end to his momentary indiscretion and all of his future momentary indiscretions.
In Winston-Salem, North Carolina, a man was awakened by his home alarm system. Responding with his own weapon in hand, the homeowner found an enterprising youngster turning his life around in his outbuilding. The homeowner then used his handgun to convince the teen of his bad choice. Fortunately for the young man, he’ll be able to provide more target practice for other area homeowners, after a brief respite in the hospital and the local hoosegow.
Read the last story at the link and you’ll see why I started rewriting these things myself.
Thanks to Chief Tango for the links.

Ummm…NC guy might find himself in the Hoosegow too. That wasn’t a righteous shoot as described.
How can you determine that from the information provided? Do you know more about the circumstances involved with this shooting? Please enlighten us.
I said, “as described”. The description: “While investigating the alarm activation, the homeowner told FOX8 he saw at least one person inside his shed.
He then discharged a firearm.”
There is no mention of fearing for life etc. Just my opinion – you’re welcome to yours. But, nether of us knows.
I never stated an opinion. There is not enough information in the story for me to formulate one that I would make public.
I do hope that some day, newspapers will decide to hire people who are not functionally illiterate.
woken up – means ‘awakened’
The rest of it is so badly written that you wonder if any of that generation can even fill out a job application.
‘While investigating the alarm activation, the homeowner told FOX8 he saw at least one person inside his shed.
He then discharged a firearm.’
So, did the homeowner discharge his firearm while he was talking to Fox8? That is what I would understand it to say.
Thanks, Jonn, for interpreting the lack of basic English grammar skills. It deflects my writing a snarky missive to the editor of that particular rag.
To answer your question, no, they cannot. My sister just got a job as a life guard, and she was told she was the only applicant that filled out the application in it’s entirety.
Looks like momma is TN thinks her son was a good boy and the guy who drilled the “yute” needs to be charged.
Cops say ain’t gonna happen.
