Wednesday morning feel good stories

First stop this morning is Missouri, where 4, count ’em four, dangerous criminals have been removed from society;

Officers responded to multiple calls about gunshots at 1616 West 4th Street just after 5:00 am. It was there they found 32-year-old Michael Dean of Joplin dead from a gunshot wound. Dean was a suspect in the home invasion.

Shawn Hency, Dakota Bate, and Dakota Pilier have been arrested for one count each of: 1st Degree Burglary and 2nd Degree Murder, respectively. The 2nd Degree Murder arrests are a result of the death of their co-conspirator, Michael P. Dean of Oronogo, MO.

Next stop is Virginia;

The incident happened on the 5700 block of Lenore Lane just after 9 a.m.

Officers believe a man was attempting to break into the home when he was confronted by the owner. The homeowner shot the suspect once.

Police received a 911 call from inside the home, and when they arrived they took the suspect into custody. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Another link says that he took off running after he was shot and the police arrested him as he tried to make his escape on the bus. As always, thanks to Chief Tango for the links.
