Chief Tango sends us our short feel good story this morning from Houston;
Police said the suspect went to grab cash out of the register at the store located on Beechnut near Wilcrest then hit the clerk when the clerk refused.
The clerk pulled out a gun and shot him. The suspect was in critical condition Friday night.
A Katrina refuge perhaps? Crime went way up in the aftermath of the evacuation of New Orleans.

Please sir, let this be the last “x morning feel good post”. Thanks to Hussar, I can no longer live with the hypocrisy of not flying to the scene to fight with these homeowners and store owners. I am too much of a chickenshit to stand next to them and assist as they defend themselves, their families, and their property. I now realize, thanks to Hussar, that taking a side in these matters is dumb, and I feel the shame of the hypocrite. Also, I will have to run it by Hussar, but those “saving the world posts” might have to go as well. I will be sure to let you know.
