Chief Tango sends us our feel good story, but, it was kind of a mishap – not much to feel good about. It seems two fellows left a party and got lost on the way back in Las Vegas;
Police say two men and one woman in their 20s were knocking on the door of what they thought was their friends house late last night. A man inside the home thought he was being burglarized.
Police say he shot a handgun through the door and hit one of the men in the chest standing outside. The victim was sent to UMC with nonlife-threating injuries.
So, target ID is important.
Really, really bad play on the homeowners part here. I think for sure he’ll get charged in this.
Why is this considered a “feel good story”?
Firing a gun through a door because someone knocked on it?
That’s not a “misunderstanding”, that’s gross negligence.
The shooter should be in jail, and should certainly never be allowed to own guns again.
