Tuesday morning feel good story

Our feel good story comes from Little Rock this morning where an off-duty police officer was loading a bicycle into his truck;

Little Rock police say the off-duty officer was loading his bicycle onto his truck on Rebsamen Road Sunday night.
They say a man walked up behind the officer… put a gun to his head… then hit him in the face.
According to police… the officer pulled out his off-duty weapon and fired at the suspect… identified as Juvon Allen, 21.
Police say Allen fired back as he ran off… then got into a car.
The driver of that car took Allen to the hospital, where he died.

  1. Hopefully the dear perp wasn’t able (or didn’t have time)to pass on his Stupid Genes before he passed on.
    “Cleaning out the gene pool, one dead moron at a time.”

  2. But, but, he needed that bike to get to his GED class! He was turning his life around!! He was going to coach a church-league softball team!!!

    The gene pool is a bit cleaner, now.

    1. MAJMike Sir, you just put coffee on my keyboard. “He was going to coach a church-league softball team!!!”

      “The driver of that car took Allen to the hospital, where he died.” Well…bummer is all I have to say. I’m giving five to one on this one, the driver never stopped but had Allen do a tuck and roll at the ER entrance. Any takers? Cause I’m sure he hung around for the doctor’s report on his main man. You know, cause there’s honor among thieves. Bullshit, he was gone before the car door closed saying, “peace and luck bro, I gotsta get goin for da cops shows up”. No offense meant to the “brothers” in Little Rock for the black accent.

  3. I am really ashamed to say that I truly enjoy a good dead perp story. I am sort of saddened when I read that they lived.

    Nice job officer.

    An armed citizenry is a polite citizenry.

    1. MGySgtRet…I know exactly how you feel sir. I think I should feel bad because someone died. But as Harry Callahan said, “nothing wrong with people getting shot…as long as it’s the right people”.

  4. Any word on whether or not the cop was injured when the now-dead perp shot at him?

  5. That’s why I never, ever, ever (did I say EVER!?) leave my home without my little 6 shot AMT .380 DA Backup with 90 gr Federal Hydra Shoks.

    Always prepared.
