Friday morning feel good story

Chief tango sends us our feel good story for the morning this time from Alabama where 60 year-old Randy Hill was visiting his son;

He heard a knock at the door. Harris said the father went to front of the house and found Tony Kitchens, 60, of Albertville standing there.

Kitchens told Hill he was looking for Kitchens’ son so he could beat him up, Harris said, and while they were talking Kitchens picked up a flashlight and hit Hill in the face and head.

The two fought, and [DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy] Harris said Hill got a shotgun and shot Kitchens in the leg.

  1. “Kitchens told Hill he was looking for Kitchens’ son so he could beat him up”

    That line makes no sense, or it is too early and not enough java. I think they meant to say “Hill’s son”.

    1. I had to read it a few times, and since having my coffee it is a little clearer.
      I believe that Kitchens came looking for his son whom he believed was in that double wide, and when he couldn find him to beat on he decided to beat on Mr Hill… Who showed Kitchens that you do not bring a flashlight to a gun fight.

  2. Shot in the leg. Ho hum. He should have gotten one to the torso but I guess Hill was being kinder and gentler.
