Saturday Feel Good Story

Chief Tango sends us our feel good story for today from Houston when three people forced their way into a house in order to turn their lives around. they forced the homeowner to the floor while they had their way with his stuff. When they finally left his house, he grabbed a shot gun and gunned down a 47-year-old woman as she got in her car. Her two playmates escaped in a pick up truck;

Investigators said the man was home when three robbers kicked their way into his home. The homeowner grabbed his gun.

The homeowner ran outside and shot a 47-year-old woman through the window of a car.

“I totally defend his decision,” said neighbor Doreen Hodgson. “Homeowners are tired of working hard and people feeling you can just take what you worked hard for.”

  1. Awww gee whiz, they only wanted to redistribute a little bit of wealth, and look what happened….

  2. Hmm. I applaud the outcome but, from what is written, this may not be a righteous shooting since the people turning their life around had left and were no longer a threat? The good news is that it was in Texas. Hope I’m wrong.

    One thing in his favor is that he was following Bite Me’s advice and was using a shotgun. Holder will say it is ok.

  3. Home invasion style attack, robbery. Besides he train of thought was there coming back to harm me… No texas jury would convict if they pursued it.

  4. What a shame. Shattered car windows are difficult to recover from. The glass gets everywhere. Absolute shame.

  5. Sure seems to be a lot of these stories coming out of Houston. Guess the citizens have reached max capacity with the idiots.

  6. I think that it is entirely appropriate that the penalty for home invasion is violent death. These people deserve exactly what they get. Think of it as a teaching moment. Pay back is a MEDIVAC!

  7. Roger: concur. I also don’t have much problem if the same penalty occurs during an attempted property theft outside the home – e.g., if someone’s trying to steal a car, lawn equipment, break into a shed, etc . . . .

    IMO, a person has every right to defend what is theirs.
