Even though the top law enforcement officer in the country, Attorney General Holder admitted that under his leadership thousands of repeating, assault-style weapons were bought with tax payer dollars and transferred into the hands of the enemies of law-abiding Americans and that those weapons will “continue to show up at crime scenes in the U.S. and Mexico for years to come” – he still won’t admit that it was ultimately his responsibility. Holder, in testimony on Capitol Hill that comes as the congressional investigation into the program expands, decried the “gun-walking” tactic used in the operation as “inexcusable” and “wholly unacceptable.” But a day after an influential senator called for the resignation of one of Holder’s top deputies over the scandal, Holder denied department leaders played any role in the crafting of “Fast and Furious.”
He continued to assert that top Justice officials were not told about the “inappropriate tactics” until they were made public.
Thousands of thugs are running around with weapons purchased in the United States with our tax money and all he can muster is “inexcusable” and “wholly unacceptable”. Then they plotted to blame it on gun dealers and our gun laws to take away some of our rights.
The anti=Bush crowd got bent out of shape when they found about the Bush Administration wiretapping terrorists calling the US, but they can’t get exercised about this plot to curtail American civil liberties?
I expect Occupy DC will be marching on the DoJ any minute now to protest the crimes Holder and his crowd perpetrated on the American people.

Like I said, Holder today said that he’d put an end to the Gun Walker op. And, that it wasn’t a “top down” operation, it was a “regional operation”. So, the boys out in Arizona better get ready, I do believe they’re about to find themselves under a bus, maybe a new one just purchased in Canada.
Holder said the DoJ has been forthcoming in their release of e-mails about this, except that he hasn’t released any of his e-mails. And he said he won’t release his e-mails.
The thought that this ass-clown can make those statements, which flies in the face of what the document dumps have shown, is just a hint of the delusion this administration operates under. Not to mention, a huge CYA operation on behalf of Holder, and probably, people above him. That’s based on what Obama told Sarah Brady, and statements he’s made, like we’ll proceed, but under the radar.

I’m not really surprised Dick Cheese doesn’t care. I hear the ATF is actually pointing to F&F as an excuse to give them MORE power. Its like watching this horribly Machiavellian game of chess, and whereas most might expect shame if caught he gives us not a damn thing. I bet if he hadn’t been caught red handed and had managed to get tougher gun laws past the jackass would gloat about it.

Weren’t those gun dealers the ones who got the investigation going in the first because they were bitter about being forced by the ATF to make those illegal sales in the first place? Some whistle blower protection these guys are getting.
