I know I already told you guys about it, but I got an email from FireDogLake, those pornographers from the other end of the political spectrum telling me how Dan Choi was “singled out” when he was arrested the other day at the White House – well, he was “singled out” along with 64 other people;
And then the poor child was not allowed to know what time it was, yet he knew he was fed at odd hours. I wonder how that works.
Slept on the floor? That NEVER happens to an infantryman, does it? It must never happen because I’ve never heard an infantryman complain about it before today.
Then they shackled him and dragged his ass into the courtroom – it sounds to me like the Metro PD is getting tired of arresting him. Maybe they’re just making incarceration hard on him in their short time with Choi since no judge will punish him.
I’ll believe Choi’s being given cruel and unusual punishment whenFDL reports he accompanied Metro Police on a normal L&O patrol in one of the poorer sections of the District.
Choi doesn’t have a clue what “hard incarceration” looks like.
I remember one small county I lived in used to get prisoners in front of the judge who would have various types of bruising around the face. Invariably, when asked what had happened, the prisoner would reply, “I walked into a door.” One man, who had been very drunk when he was arrested and had resisted the arrest quite vigorously, came before the judge with absolutely spectacular bruising to his face. When the judge asked what had happened, the prisoner replied with the expected, “I walked into a door.”
The judge looked at him silently for a moment, then asked, “How many times?”
Seriously, if he’s bitching about conditions in jail, he was never cut out for anything more “harsh” than a Holiday Inn Express. Amazing.

Poor little Choi boi had to sleep on the floor. Boo fucking hoo. Man up, Nancy, because if sleeping on the floor gets your thong in a twist, I would have hated to have you as an officer in my unit. Try sleeping in a hammock to keep the ground critters at bay with 550 cord tied above with your skeeter netting thrown over the top so you can keep the snakes and other tree varmints off you, also.
