IED in PA?

Old Trooper sent us a link to The Jawa Report which linked to a CBS News report about police in Pennsylvania finding an apparent Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

Chester police are urging vigilance after they found an improvised explosive device, this afternoon, near Amtrak and Septa railroad tracks and the Commodore Barry Bridge. ??

Police say the device consisted of two bottles with a yellow liquid inside. They say one had a timer and wires attached by duct tape. ??

Police were not sure if the device was really explosive but evacuated the area as a precaution.

Whether it was an IED or not, someone intended it to look that way. Vigilance, folks.

  1. Interesting. There are, according to Google Maps, 2 mosques and and “Institute of Islamic Studies” center within about a mile of that bridge.

  2. Tim; I find that extremely hard to believe………..ok, maybe not.
