However; it does feel better to know that a Dem in office only took a few years to accomplish what A Repub. “tried” to do in 8, but failed.
My post was deleted very quickly, and my posting privileges revoked. My response was simply to ask if realized how difficult it was to conduct searches, then military operations in remote areas. I also stated this was not a Dem vs Repub thing, but rather a Military/Intel vs terrorist thing. not once did I say anything negative, or derogatory.
My response to this action is below:
“Thank you so much for deleting my post. I did not think I was in any inflammatory, disrespectful, or defamatory to the message I responded to. I describe myself as neither liberal, progressive, Democrat, Republican, conservative, liberatarian. In fact i view myself as completely independent. I was asking a completly legitamate question in response to Ohiogirl’s post. I tried logging in, and of course I have had my login revoked. I guess belief in freedom of speech only applies to people of your political bent. Oh and before you ask, I did read the forum rules, and made sure I was VERY careful in what I wrote. By the way, I am someone who has been in the military, serving in the Marines during the 80’s, protecting the very freedoms you twist and defame. That is your right, which is one I would fully defend, but apparently you would not allow me to express.

Cltcdrgn: Your experience on DU is much like several of us. I lasted less than one post back in 2000 when DU first started. Their terms of service don’t allow for dissent outside of the parameters of DNC talking points.
I’ve been tombstoned at DU so many times, I could cast the remake of Michael Jackson’s Thriller video.
I don’t know how many moles I’ve had at DU. One of them almost make it to 1K posts before I had a, “Oh, fuck it, even I can’t keep this level of bullshit up” flameout.
