‘Predator Poachers’ comes to Deep East Texas: Man, 57, charged after citizen group’s tip

A 59-year-old Livingston man was arrested Saturday following an investigation into suspected child exploitation.According to the Livingston Police Department, officers were contacted by a group of private citizens who reported communicating online with an individual who intended to meet with a child.
Investigators were provided digital evidence by the group Predator Poachers related to the communication, which led officers to identify the suspect as David Burks of Livingston.
During the investigation, police say Burks was found to be in possession of multiple digital files depicting child sexual abuse material.
Predator Poachers posted an extensive interview with Burks on its Facebook page where Burks claimed he thought the girl he was communicating with on TikTok was 18.
There was no such child on the other end of Burks’ alleged digital communiques.
He was arrested at the scene and charged with Possession of Child Pornography.
Authorities say additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.

Mr Livingston (I presume) is going to have to learn to live and work on his knees as the newest (bottom of the pile) employee of the BTJT Prison Deli, Home of the Man Meat Sammich (etc).

One hopes he has an “interesting life” in prison and a pine box release.

I worked as a Corrections Officer for the State of Texas for a while after leaving active duty.
He most likely WON’T complete his sentence alive…

Alex Rosen is great at getting these creeps to relax and admit to stuff they never would to a cop. Pred Poachers has a lot of arrests and convictions. Some PDs love them, some hate them.
