Man Allegedly Tries to Carjack Off-Duty Deputy’s Vehicle, Gets Shot Dead
AWR Hawkins

A man allegedly tried to carjack an off-duty Harris County deputy’s car Friday afternoon, around 2:45 p.m. in Atascocita, outside of Houston, and was shot dead by the deputy.

FOX News reported that the deputy’s child was in the vehicle at the time the incident occurred.

ABC 13 noted that “the deputy had just placed his young child in a car seat in the back of a pickup truck when the suspect approached and attempted to enter the passenger’s side of the vehicle.”

The deputy temporarily held the suspect at gunpoint, then opened fire after fearing for the life of his child.

Responding law enforcement found the alleged would-be carjacker lying on a lawn near the deputy’s vehicle.

Really really poor victim selection skills.

How do you tell a communist? Well, it’s someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It’s someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

  1. Let’s see……how many rules for continued oxygen consumption did the deceased break while attempting his auto B&E?

  2. Nothing of value was lost other than needing to call the street sanitation department to clean the roadway.

    1. I would get one of these except that I really, REALLY don’t want to get one of these.

  3. I’d like to test fire one of Taurus 627s. The handgrip is not appealing but I’m sure that something can be done about that part.
