European elites ‘horrified’ at how JD Vance spoke to them

Vice President JD Vance spoke at the Munich Security Conference. The European leaders who were there expected Vance’s speech to focus on security, including the war in Ukraine. However, Vance called the European leaders out for attacks against free speech. He compared their use of “misinformation” and “disinformation” to Soviet propaganda efforts. Many European leaders were “horrified”.

From Financial Times:

European officials in Munich were horrified at what they saw as Vance’s unfair and untrue claims, and his linking of US support to the allegations.

“It was mad, totally mad,” said one senior European diplomat. “And very dangerous.”

Some officials compared the speech with Vladimir Putin’s address at the same event in 2007, where the Russian president warned that Nato expansion risked conflict with Moscow.

“He lectured us, he humiliated us,” said a senior EU diplomat. “The mood in the room was exactly like the Putin 2007 speech?.?.?.?it was outrageous.”

Vance also took aim at policies permitting mass migration in Europe, directly connecting the bloc’s immigration policies to an attack in Munich that injured 36 people on Thursday. “We saw the horrors wrought by these decisions yesterday in this very city,” he said.

A 24-year-old failed Afghan asylum seeker pleaded guilty to carrying out the attack, authorities said on Friday, as they suggested a likely Islamist motive.

Vance said: “More and more all over Europe, they are voting for people who promise to put to an end uncontrolled migration.”

He added: “Dismissing their concerns … shutting people out of the political process, protects nothing. In fact, it is the most sure-fire way of destroying democracy.”

  1. Let me tell you…
European leaders DO NOT RESPECT the United States. They see us as some johnny-come-lately in world politics. Despite bailing their asses out in 2 World Wars, and being the only thing keeping Soviet Cossacks from running rough-shod over them for 40 years. They look down their noses at us because we give something to citizens that the Euros never believed in, Freedom. Even the fucking Brits can sometimes refers to us as The Colonies. I’m glad JD blew their asses off. They better get used to him…

        1. “They see us as some johnny-come-lately in world politics.”
Except for the UK, the United States as established by our Constitution is older than most current European governments.

    1. The only thing missing [unless I missed it] was JD shouting in a stentorian voice; “YOU ARE NOT EVEN HUMAN-FUCKING-BEINGS; YOU ARE UNORGANIZED, GRABASSTIC PIECES OF AMPHIAN SHIT!”

  2. Someone in the comments on another site said “just think, we could have been listening to Tim Walz instead.”

Bahahaha these clowns never cease to be entertaining.

      1. Aren’t you glad that you were not born a female? I love women but am eternally grateful to never have been one.

  3. The truth hurts…don’t it. Maybe they’d rather listen to The Z Man and his call for the creation of a “European Army” to counter the “Russian Threat”.

The only thing we ever asked the Europeans for was enough land to bury our dead. Phuque ’em!

  4. A lecture eh? Good now they have no excuse to say they don’t know next time. I hope he did counseling statements.on all of them.

  5. Dear Europe, there’s a reason 1. Our ancestors left, and 2. We have to keep coming back to bail you out.

  6. umm, “a senior diplomat” and various unnamed “officials”. If you’re bold enough to say it, be bold enough to own it. That is, if it was actually said to a reporter and not the news outlets’ or reporters’ agenda and bias on display.

    1. Absolutely. We have known for a while that reporters make shit up to promote their agenda. I wouldn’t be surprised if that is how the reporter felt, rather than anything a diplomat said.

    2. Good point.
Be nice if the propagandists named names.
      There’s a reason we don’t trust them

  7. For some reason the Euroweenie elites keep forgetting that if it weren’t for the United States, almost all of Europe would be speaking German by now! AS TO their being “humiliated”, oh well, they’ve been getting free rides off of us and I’m glad to see it coming to an end, those Euro-creampuffs need to wake up.

      1. I was taught that Paris had tree-lined streets so the German Army could march in the shade!

  8. All it took was a Marine Corporal to send the entire continent into a tizzy.

Just think what two would do.

        1. Yes, had he gone to Unteroffizier school, he would actually been the “Corporal” many described him as. True.

          1. Another thing that Hitler and Tim Walz have in common, they both claimed a rank that they did not complete the requisite training for. Plus, they both used their law enforcement to suppress dissent among their citizens.

    1. Damn. That looks like a big boy.
How long until fakers, embellishers, and other valor thieves start making copies of that and claiming they got it from the President for some top secret squirrel mission?

    1. Did Princess Ambassador Caroline Kennedy ever get titties? Such as that might matter. She did manage to birth an idiot bastard and named it after her own prolific fuck-monster-father.

We can only wonder where Jackie got the sperm for Caroline from but it is not beyond belief that it came from Bobby.

There could be a reason why Princess Caroline so vapidly disaffirms her “cousin” now SECRETARY Little Bobby.

Honestly, Little Jack looks amazingly like one of Little Bobby’s bastards, Conor… not to be confused with a condor or condom. To his credit, Conor has played life with Warren Haynes. That shit does not come for free.

If Warren Haynes thinks that Conor “has it”, he probably does.

  9. On the uptick, be grateful that goddamned John “Maverick” McCain is no longer a part of the story.

Vance has been badly sold “down the river” by the media and I am glad to see him holding his own in a theater of adversity.

Good to see that Trump is respectful of him even though they are very dissimilar personalities from hugely disparate backgrounds.

Thank God, he’s not from Indiana. (which is not meant to disparage the good people of Indiana)

  10. Euro-trash pussies. Probably all headed back to their safe spaces/crying rooms and coloring books after the conference.

  11. I follow a website on sailing and find the general attitude of most Europeans is to think they are superior to most Americans. Not to a real overwhelming degree. More of a smug attitude that they’re just better than anyone else. I find Europeans are weak in expressing descent or expressing values of freedom. They always speak in guarded undertones. I think because they do not enjoy the freedoms we have. Their concerned about misspeaking and having there government come after them for speaking out side politically correct language. Snowflakes that are afraid to offend anyone. Except by maybe some pompous remarks that are safe to say. They’re shackled by the gradual eradication of freedom of expression. What we call wussies!

    1. Jimbo, what are you sailing?
I was considering a day sailer but I got scared by the ridiculous amount of money it would take to update it and maintain it after that.

      1. I follow a sailing couple as they travel the Arctic waters on an Aluminum hulled 13×4 meter that they restored. I don’t have my own sail boat. I m a kayaker. Sailing is an expensive venture and I can’t see paying the price for my own boat.

      1. “Insulting” includes speaking about politicians, too, which (there not being clearly defined limits to this) could include criticizing their policies and making them feel bad.
