Arrest made in Friday morning Georgetown Co. shooting
The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said one person was injured during an exchange of gunfire early Friday morning.

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – A man injured in an early-morning shooting in Georgetown County is now in custody, authorities said.Savion Grimmage was arrested after being treated for gunshot wounds at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital Friday morning, sheriff’s office spokesman Jason Lesley said.
The shooting happened on Exodus Drive in the Plantersville community around 12:30 a.m. Friday.
Lesley said Grimmage was hit by shotgun fire while leaving the scene of a confrontation.
Witnesses told deputies a person in a vehicle shot into a house and another vehicle after a confrontation.
