Organizing for America sent me instructions today. I have five Virginia voters to call and tell them when and where to vote. Luckily, I have complete instructions on what to say and how to have a civil conversation;
I wonder why Organizing for America would want a Maryland resident to influence voters in Virginia. Or why think that a Virginian would be influenced by a Marylander, or why they think a Marylander would care about the governorship of Virginia.
Well, excuse me, I’ve got some calling to do for Bob McDonnell.
Interesting that they are using the Scottish Rite Temple for a polling place. It’s ironic, in that all Masonic lodges have a strict code prohibiting any discussion of religion or politics within the lodge. AS a 32nd Degree member of the Scottish Rite, I am happy to see the lodge involved in a civic function, though it’s a bit iffy as to whether that is appropriate.

AW1 Tim: I think that many places such as churches are used as polling centers. I know that every one I have ever gone to is at a church, so that may be why it is there.

How wonderful that we’re taking a leaf out of their book.
Track, we’re only doing this until we can assure that elections are no longer needed, and the 0 is coronated as King of the World. And his minions will spread the word, making sure that everyone has their little Blue Book of Chairman Obamao’s thoughts.
