PD: Intruder shot, killed by Phoenix homeowner overnight
No arrests have been made, police say

Phoenix police say a homeowner shot and killed an intruder late Thursday night.

Police were called to a home near 17th Avenue and Coolidge Street, which is south of Camelback Road, around 11 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

Officials learned a man, identified as 30-year-old Ricky Gomez, had forced his way into a home in the area and the man living at the home shot him. Gomez died from his injuries at a hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.

Man found shot, cut up inside East Side home, woman says she shot him in self defense

SAN ANTONIO – A woman was taken in for questioning by police after a man was found dead inside an East Side home.

Police were called out around 11 p.m. Thursday to a home off Denver Boulevard near Interstate 37.

When officers walked inside the home, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest and several cuts to his arms. The woman told investigators that the she was being assaulted by the man and shot him in self defense.

    That’s the problem right there.
    The police found the man.
    In a more just world, the man would never have been found.
    The woman would have just made him……disappear.

      Double shot of DRTs is a good score in anybody’s book…and the gene pool is much cleaner now.

      Called a Butterfly knife not so much because of the way it opens, but because it is just beautiful…kinda like OAM.
