by: Alicia Patton
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating a self-defense claim following a deadly Sunday night shooting that occurred at a gas station in the Bordeaux area.

The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. at a gas station in 3900 block of Clarksville Pike on Sunday, Aug. 13.

Authorities reported that 42-year-old Ricky Starks Jr. was shot and killed following a reported altercation that occurred at the store.

According to Metro police, Starks Jr. was outside of the Citgo gas station when the incident occurred.

Ricky Johnson Jr., 34, – the man who allegedly shot Starks – told officers that he was exiting the Citgo when Starks approached him, pointed a gun at his head, pistol whipped him and demanded money.

Johnson told officers that Starks followed him as he ran inside the store. That’s when Johnson fired his gun and shot Starks multiple times.

  1. No security cameras inside and outside the Shop & Rob?

  2. A double shot of DRTs! Life is good.

THE greatest fear of the despotic domestic enemies of We, The People, is their loss of power. Prepare.

“The preferred weapon of the enemy…” It’s also the preferred weapon of those that are friends.

    1. AWESOME!
I wish my car could get that loud.
Maybe I could just “smoke” them into submission & surrender.
