Baltimore Police rule February shooting as justified in self-defense

By Dillon Mullan
Baltimore Police detectives have determined a February 7 shooting was justified in an attempted robbery.

According to police, 42-year-old Joseph Garrison attempted to rob a 24-year-old male who used a licensed handgun to shoot and kill Garrison in self-defense.

The shooter, who police did not identify, remained at the scene in the 3900 block of Ridgecroft Road in the Waltherson neighborhood in Northeast Baltimore and was initially taken into custody.

The real story here, Baltimore solved a shooting incident. I also know what hoops the young man had to jump through to get that CCW in the PDRofMD. Without that worthless, err, legal nicety this story would have a very different ending.

The truth is that men are tired of liberty.

  1. A hand cannon worthy of our own Gun Bunny. Only missing the carriage, wheels, and ammunition caisson.

    1. Never saw a Deagle XIX being fired but saw the famous Auto Mag at the range back in the early 70’s being fired by a guy next to me, and what a flame came out of the barrel.

  2. The truth is that men are tired of liberty.

A fool and his liberty are soon parted.

  3. Dateline; Baltimore, PDRoM.
Good news, young man does what he needs to do to legally carry a self defense weapon as diktated within the state. Uses it to defend self against robber, shoots robber dead.
Taxpayer money saved in arrest, jail (admin, housing, feeding, medical), trial, sentencing, prison (again; admin, housing, feeding, medical, endless futile appeals).
Bad news; percentage of taxpayer money saved is not offered to young man who defended himself.
