To show my support for the White House’s creative method of framing things, I’m going to go ahead and declare that I’m officially not dating Megan Fox and that all attempts on her part to contact me will be ignored. Additionally I reject the use of the terms ‘stalker’ or ‘restraining order’ as negative and not effective in dealing with the situation that she and I do not currently find ourselves in. I’m sure that given time and understanding, none of these issues will work themselves out.

    Yup. Because it’s not like they’ve demonstrated that they’re an entity capable of operating in a Global environment or carry out attacks on multiple continents. Nosiree…nor would we want to create the impression that they’re organized and capable of planning operations like that. That would just worry people with facts and stuff…facts have no place in the face of Hope.

    Does that mean we are going to invade Saudi Arabia? Saddam was a bad dude and Ahmadinejad and Khameinei are dicks, but the Saudis are the kings of Wahhabism.

  10. Its all about terminology and smoke screens. When do leave Afghanistan then since we are no longer fighting the Taliban, but just Al-Qaida and they are hiding in Pakistan.

Maybe VA chief Eric Shinseki can design the new “War on Al Qaida” medal and have it produced in China and rank it above the MoH. That would probably piss off even more real soldiers than his black beret for everybody plan. That worked so well.

Or are we at war with just the Al-Quaeda in Afghanistan, or the ones in Pakistan, or the affiliated groups in Indonesia, the Philippines or other assorted countries throughout the world? I’m confused, I hope the Hope-N-Changers print programs soon, so I can keep track of who we’re really at war with. Or is it, who we’re at man-caused disasters with? Did anyone clear this with Sec. Napolitano?

  16. I’m surprised they even use the word “War”. Thought they would say something like “We are in a meaningful disagreement with Al Qaeda, but we respect their feelings to dislike us.”
