DA: PA Woman Acted In Self-Defense In Stabbing Death Of Lover In Berks County

A Pennsylvania woman will not face any criminal charges for fatally stabbing her lover last year in Berks County as her actions were those of self-defense, authorities said.The woman, solely identified as the paramour of Terance M. Myers Sr., “was reasonable in her belief that she was in imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury due to Myers’ actions of advancing and lunging towards her with a knife,” Berks County District Attorney John T. Adams said.
Officers responding to a home in the 4300 block of Hillside Road in Exeter Township on Dec. 14, 2020, found 35-year-old Myers lying on the second-floor bathroom floor, unresponsive and bleeding from the chest, authorities said.

Burglar injured after homeowner strikes him with machete in central El Paso
A burglar was seriously injured after getting into a confrontation with the homeowner of the home he has broken into in central El Paso Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at the 2600 block of Fillmore around 4:15 a.m.
The burglar identified as 22-year-old Carlos Esteban Villaescusa is currently hospitalized.
Police officials said the homeowner woke up after hearing glass breaking.
The homeowner walked outside and saw a man holding a metal rod, breaking the front window of the house.

Addendum: hopefully, while the homeowner was carving up Carlos like a Thanksgiving turkey, he removed or rendered non-operational those “bits” so that there won’t be any further generations of Carlos’.
After reading this, sounds like Carlos Villaescusa is not cut out for that line of work.
