US antiwar bloggers act like Hamas

I briefly mentioned earlier that Hamas was celebrating their “victory” over the IDF in Gaza. Then doing my nightly “stalking’ thing on the antiwar blogs, I found a perfect example of the same sort of mentality from the Out of Iraq Bloggers Caucus;

Somehow, President Bush leaving office after eight years, as mandated by the Constitution, means they “won” something. Just like the IDF running out of targets and calling a unilateral ceasefire means victory for Hamas.

Um, good job, guys. Yay!

    They still can’t accept that they lived in a free country, even under a Republican President. Of course, there are plenty in Hollywood with the same delusions.

  2. The anti war nuts started a petition to Congress back in 2006 to call off the war. In three years they got 2200 signatures from service members, and are still hanging on.

    In 2007, a Navy Lt Commander in Baghdad and a National Guard Sgt in Al Asad started a petition to Congress to support the war, and they go 3100 signatures in 5 months, presented it to Congress and called it good.

    Nonetheless the anti war nuts point to 2200 signatures and present it as evidence that the whole military opposes the war.

    There’s a reason we call them nuts.

    They’re just celebrating that they were able to prevent that martial law/ military coup/ whatever that the claimed Bush-Cheney were going to pull off in order to stay in power.
