Scotty sends us his work on this Thomas Bril Gordon fellow who was a State Representative of Arizona. On his resume, he claims that he was a Navy SEAL, that he has a Bronze Star Medal for valor and a Purple Heart.
According to a 1999 article, he had worked for Congressman JD Hayworth until he fired for lying about his service;
When a state lawmaker left with fellow reservists on a military flight during the Kosovo crisis, a yellow ribbon was placed on his desk to symbolize hopes he would return safely.
The ribbon is gone: Rep. Tom Gordon came back from Europe last week, telling reporters that he had been held hostage by Serbs and had gone through “six months of hell.” And now the freshman legislator faces a federal investigation into how he got overseas in the first place.
The questions arose last weekend after Rep. J.D. Hayworth, R-Ariz., said he had fired Gordon from a part-time staff job because Gordon allegedly faked being called up by the Naval Reserve and had conned him out of a congressional travel voucher to get onto military flights to Europe.
“This action saddens me deeply,” Hayworth said. “But Rep. Gordon lied to me and my staff, and has acted in a manner that I believe is inconsistent with the high ethical standards people expect from their elected representatives.”
Don Shipley says that Gordon is not a SEAL. He barely has any military service. He spent a year in Marine Corps until they divested themselves of his worthless ass;
And if that picture of him at the top of the page looks like a mug shot, well, yes it is – there’s more at Scotty’s place.

HOW MANY counts of forgery?
136, unless the counts numbers are just counting 1 individual count per entry and not total counts per entry.
Frank Visconi would be proud.
Spanky Frankie might be a little jealous he didn’t think of adding SEAL to his credentials also.
Why in the name of the holy airstrike is it always Bronze Stars and Purple Hearts with these people? It took losing a leg and having several rounds narrowly miss my great-granddad’s heart for him to get one of those, I don’t see what the appeal is.
This turd could be a lobbyist for All-Points Logistics.
And he has worked w/ native Americans although I do not know if he claims he is one or not.
But close enough.
This dude is about to get his Phil Monkress on!
AND HE CLAIMS LEO!!!!
We have the Philo Trifecta!
This is like the fucking holy grail!
This dude NEEDS to be in senior management at All-Points Logistics!!!!!
Or maybe– bear with me– what if Phil Monkress is just a false identity for this scuzzbag and it was really Thomas Gordon running All-Points the whole time?!
*Dramatic orchestral chords*
Wow.
That’s deep.
I never thought of that.
Palmer is just a pimp….he could have never out fought Jonn-ino. It was Phil Monkress all along!
Please GOD tell me that he really graduated Harvard and London School of Economics.
There’s literally no way. That can’t be true.
I bet he has a lab coat.
And an All-Points Logistics business card.
“But Rep. Gordon lied to me and my staff, and has acted in a manner that I believe is inconsistent with the high ethical standards people expect from their elected representatives.”
I believe is inconsistent? How about IS inconsistent, w/o the qualifier? And “high ethical standards? Jeebebus, we have set the bar so low for behavioral standards that nearly every stinking politician meets them. I really do loathe politicians.
My opinion of ALL politics is derived from the definition:
politics: from the root words poli (meaning many) and ticks (blood sucking parasites)
Pretty much sums it up for me.
Wos, some folks just don’t give up with their BS. He was busted 14 years ago pretending to be in the Navy…you would think he would have learned, and that people would learn to use google.
P.S. it is Birl, not Bril
Those are not all of his convictions listed on the BlogSpot . I just highlighted the better ones.
He spent a total of 3 days on Active Duty. The rest of the time was spent on inactive and DEP.
I was serving in USAREUR G-3 in late 1999 manning the Bosnia Ops desk when this POS first surfaced after having been picked up by TF EAGLE in Bosnia for hanging around Tuzla without any authorization or proper orders. We had a good laugh in the G-3 shop about this politician who faked his deployment to earn political brownie points from his constituents. Now it turns out 15 years later this turd is still at it and pushing his bullshit resume. Some asshats never learn…
Really? My brother was an Intel analyst over there during the same time frame with the 10th Mountain. He was an augmentee from the 101st and I remember that he was extended in order to facilitate the transition when a National Guard division took over the AO in early 2000. I’m wondering if he knew anything about this.
Looks like he was dropped as NPQ (Not Physically Qualified) after three days at PLC.
“The Marine Corps Platoon Leaders Course (PLC) is an alternative for NROTC or OCS for college students who wish to become commissioned officers in the United States Marine Corps.
College students can enroll in PLC when they are freshmen, sophomores, or juniors in college. Those who enroll as freshmen or sophomores attend two 6 six-week summer training programs at the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School, located at Quantico, Virginia. Students who enroll in the program as juniors attend one 10-week summer course.”
Held hostage by Serbs for six months? Really? Was he also dodging sniper fire with Hillary?
This guy definitely reeks of phoniness, but I wonder if he has some additional military service that the FOIA didn’t capture? The 1999 article says that Navy Reserve officials confirmed that he was a lieutenant commander, albeit inactive since 1992.
This fucker is Walter Mitty and Forrest Gump all rolled into one big heaping pile of lying shit. Been there, done that, stole the T-Shirt.

“Gordon allegedly faked being called up by the Naval Reserve”. Who the hell lets an employee go anywhere for military duty; especially a mobilization without a copy of orders? I’ve never had an employer who just said “sure we believe you have to go away for weeks/months on end without giving us any orders.”
A big steaming pile of dipshits here.
The same brain trust that buys software and services form the likes of Firstech Inc. and All Points Logistics.
I love his facial expression in what I assume is his booking photo. He has a “MOOOOOMMY! They’re gonna want to poke me in the butt in there, *WAAAAAAHHHH!*” look on his face and in his eyes, I hope Bubba & Thor have a ball with his ass!!
