Thanks, Coasties

Unusual.  And definitely a new twist on “saving America.”

If you’re wondering what the hell I’m talking about, read this.  I think you’ll find it worth the time required.

Well done, PO1 Potter, PO2 Burns, and PO3 Peters. Damn well done.

Thanks.

Not to be a wet blanket but that is a lot of effort for a bird. Nature should have been left to take its course

Sure, jonp. By that logic the US flag is just a piece of cloth not worth worrying much about, too.

As they’d say where I grew up: “That dog don’t hunt.”

      Symbols matter.

It was we the people, who put these great birds at risk when farmers started using DDT.
I AM for all that can done should be done to get the numbers UP for the eagles, condors and whatever DDT harmed.

The three fine Coastguardsmen who saved eagle now named “America” were just on Fox and Friends. Great feel good story and America is doing fine now.

God Bless America and the USCG!

If you ever gets in trouble up in those parts, hope these three show up … Their arms are friggin’ huge!
