Yeah I’m paraphrasing Shakespeare… not the first methinks?

Over in Russia they have a non-bloody way of dealing with protestors – fine ’em!

Can’t avoid thinking about Tiananmen Square and Syria. You can read about the Russian effort here.

Not gonna support the effort directly, but it does seem to have a sweet  capitalist bent?

    “Fine ’em”, eh? Is that before or after those fined “voluntarily” decide to move east to help out on those 5-year plan projects in Siberia? (smile)

    I think it’s a good idea. Imagine fining the filthy hippies of OWS $50,000 for protesting illegally, i.e. without a permit? They don’t pay the fine? Send the here to Maricopa county and they can serve their sentence in Sheriff Joe’s “tent city”! Two meals a day while living in tents.
