Monday morning feel good stories

A homeowner in Houston, Texas saw a fellow burglarizing his car on his surveillance system, so he went outside and shot the crook. The thief was DRT (dead right there) never to offend again.

In Kingwood, Texas, another homeowner noticed that his window was broken. On further inspection, he found a burglar in his home. The homeowner’s son then shot the fellow. The thief was DRT.

  1. Two thieves caught doing what thieves do, and now there are two less thieves. Nice outcome, no expensive trial, no one shot, no burden on the citizens in the future. Sweet.

If these lowlives would consult the TAH Feel Good Stories more often, they may notice that a lot of these stories come out of the Lone Star State, and then calculate whether that $30 they can get for a stolen car stereo is worth their lives, but alas, they are slow learners. On the positive side, their bad life decisions give us something to discuss.

If they did consult the TAH Feel Good Stories, they might learn that in Texas we teach our children to shoot – sons and daughters.

Makes a criminal career a choice for adrenalin junkies, I guess.

Texas…love it…do that to someone rummaging through your truck here in ole virginny and you’re facing felony charges…I did like the flourish to the story the owner added…something in the suspects hand…reaching for the waistband…I’m not sure even that would save your ass here, particularly if no weapon was found and perhaps a certain racial characteristic was involved

Harris County, Texas, is a bad place to be a bad guy. Amazing that they haven’t all been put out of business by now. (I could make a snide remark about Katrina “refugees”. . .)

Just to tie it together – Kingwood is a suburb of Houston, and lies in Harris and Montgomery Counties. It’s all Houston, and for crooks, all a high-risk area.

Yep, that was my point. 🙂

FWIW Harris County currently is providing the most death row inmates in Texas. At least it’s number one in something….

Unfortunately Harris Co is also turning blue with its politicians.
So glad I don’t live there any more.
