Dog Gone, Gone and Done It

I knew it…..one of these times the stolen valor pooches were going to cross the line and don the spurs and Stetson…and I’ll bet they never even did a spur ride! Scandalous I tell you….SCANDALOUS!!!

Stetson spurs

Now the posers are trying to fly under the radar by posing as a butterbar…
Stets spurs

If they come after us a la Psul Wickre, maybe we can get Mr. Pugglesworth as legal representation…

These dogs need to be ruffed up a little!

I probably be told I am barking up the wrong tree!

I wonder if “get a life” will make an appearance in comments here . . .

    # 5 … nice!

  7. A Proud Infidel

What’s the matter with some pictures of a few “Line Dogs”?

  8. Ex-PH2

These guys really know how to bark out orders!

    Hondo,
I almost put up a disclaimer for her!

Well, someone had to do this eventually. Might as well be me: Who Let the Dogs Out? (smile)

    Serious:

Here is a great MWD video – worth every 8 minutes:

Of course, you do realize that the stealthiest of the stealthy and the quickest of the quick are going to want equal time. That’s right, I’m talking about they who own the night: C-A-T-S.

Like I said in another thread, Stetsons and spurs are allowed now that DADT is repealed.

  18. #15 That was enough to make tears come out, wow

  19. @16,,,ya got that right! lol

Psul Wickless is all bark, no bite. I take either of those pooches at the top to take him out in any fight.

2/17 Air Cav: well, amigo – I think I’ll just let YOU try and put ACUs on that 25 pound manx with a bad attitude for his photo session . . . .

  22. OWB

AC and Hondo: My 22.5 pound guy who thinks he’s a dog would probably be no trouble getting into a uniform. However, the 7.5 pound prissy little swishy tailed gal is another story. She acts like a — CAT!

I dunno….them dawgs are looking mighty suspicious to me. In fact, that dawg in the second photo looks a lot like my old platoon leader. Heh.

  24. malclave

The dog in that 2nd pic looks too old to be a 2nd Lieutenant.

What we need is a pup… maybe breed that normally has its tail docked (shavetail?).

Thanks for that. After the second fun post I did about the pet contest I thought when it was over I would do a serious one on military working dogs. That video was a tear jerker. I recently remarried and unfortunately, my wife is allergic to dogs. Bless her heart, she is talking about letting me get a dog even with her allergies because she knows how much I miss having a dog or two around the house. I lost my two beagles over a year ago and I sure miss ’em…

The dogs look better than a lot of the posers do.

  27. Hondo

OWB: a few cats might tolerate that. But I wouldn’t try it with my 12-pound ornery male Himalayan – much less a 25-lb Manx or Maine Coon. My guy doesn’t even tolerate getting combed or having his eyes cleaned very well – and I don’t like getting stitches and tetanus shots. (smile)
