  • Shoplifting Captain phony

    Sorry, guys, the prosecutor asked us to take it down, because now it’s evidence, but, well, you know, you can still talk about the Secretary of the Army shoplifting dude.

    But that’s not the oddest shoplifting story in the PX I’ve ever heard. Remember in 1993 when the Secretary of the Army was arrested at the Fort Meyer, VA PX for shoplifting women’s clothing? I do, so does the New York Times.

  • Andre Shepherd update

    We’ve been following Andre Shepherd since 2008 when he first applied for asylum in Germany after he went AWOL from his unit right before they deployed to Iraq in 2007. Since then, people who knew Shepherd before he joined the Army told us how he was living in his car and reneging on loans from friends.

    People who served with Shepherd during his first tour in Iraq told us he was put in charge of the unit’s dayroom because they didn’t trust him around the Apaches that he was supposed to be repairing. Anyway, he went AWOL, mostly because he didn’t want to expose his German girlfriend to the wiles of Jodie while he was deployed.

    Shepherd’s case languished for three long years, until the Germans finally denied his application for asylum in 2011. Now, according to Stars & Stripes Shepherd is taking his case to the EU court;

    “This had to be clarified by the European court,” Marx said. “And the main issue is standard of proof — what kind of standard of proof do deserters have to establish in the European asylum system.”

    Marx announced in January that the Munich court had accepted his request to appeal to the EU court; it formally suspended Shepherd’s case in recent days and sent his case files to Luxembourg, where they will be examined by the court and the 28 EU member states. The attorney said he also will seek an oral hearing on the issue in the future. He expects the court to return an answer to the Munich court, which will decide Shepherd’s appeal, in about two years.

    So, where’s our justice? Basically, Shepherd’s defense is that he’s afraid that he’s going to be held accountable for the laws he broke and he doesn’t want to face justice. I want justice to land with both feet in the center of his back. For six years, he’s been playing the system, like he did before he joined the Army and after he joined – time to face the music and take responsibility.

  • Wittgenfeldian Symbology

    So Wittlessone is on a tear again, and it’s as exciting as ever. A few days ago he was citing to this nonsense and saying it summed up attacks on him perfectly. This is what that page says:

    Cyberbullying tactics are Information and Communications Technology methods used to harm, tease and disparage children by other children.

    So, I guess now he at least admits he’s a child.

    Then he shifted to citing to the laws of West Virginia (HERE) and saying:

    …. NOW ….. All you West Virginia cyber/bullicide iPredators need to read these rules/laws that you all break incessantly.

    Read and Understand, Ridge-Runners….

    the LRRP 41…. Cometh to West Virginia……

    a) He’s the slowest LRRP in history, since he’s been comething to West Virginia for 18 months now. And he apparently hasn’t even made it to the Georgia state line.
    b) None of those laws have anything to do with “cyber/bullicide”.   That whole page deals with illegally accessing data, or disrupting other folks’ computer services.

    Anyway, that was all build up to today’s picture, which I must admit, I just love:

    hilarious

    a) To answer the unasked question, no, I was never knighted. However, I did watch Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade last night.
    b) Also, that is a photoshop that added Don Shipley’s hair to my head. Why didn’t he steal a normal picture of me, like he does with everyone else.
    c) He has it in his head I am some sort of religious zealot. Why? Because he found another Mark Seavey on Twitter that had a picture of Jesus on the cross. Now, because he can’t even follow through on that research, he apparently doesn’t realize that isn’t me. Yes, I go to church every Sunday. Yes, I go to Bible study every other Wednesday. But when is the last time you heard me on here telling you all to repent and stop sinning? In case you were thinking it, please, no graven images of me in your front yard, I must insist.
    d) I am so down on the Legion totem pole that grass is over my head. There are 5 bosses between me and my National Commander. Why would everyone salute me? Or were they paying tribute to the hair? Unclear.
    e) Why would the Nazi’s, who were not devout, be seig heiling me, if I am some sort of Christian crusader? Did I miss a step in there somewhere?

    Anyway, is anyone out there a master of Wittgenfeldian Symbology? I figure if people can study Sandskrit (You are majoring in a 5,000-year-old, dead language?) then someone must be able to study what is going on in Nostradummass’ head.

    Jonn added: I just thought that maybe everyone ought to see how Wittgenfeld looks without a stolen valor Green Beret;

    Wittgenfeld mugshot
    His story is that he was beating someone wearing a SEAL Trident…I believe that, hardly.

  • A Sunday Afternoon Funny: Posin’

    Here ya go, Ex-PH2.   With apologies to Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Robert Hunter, and the late Jerry Garcia.(smile)

    Posin’

    Posin’ got their lies all set. Real winners all, just like ol’ Shovel man
    Keep posin’, just ‘bout all the time, posers just keep on creepin’ on.

    All those posers now shuckin’ and jivin’ on Main Street.
    Chicago, New York, Detroit and it’s always this lame bleat:
    “I was SF or a SEAL or Force Recon – a hero!
    Just look right here! I’m wearing all of my bling!”

    Dullard, with those SF lies; Phildo, with the fake SEAL claims;
    Spooky 8 claims he was CIA; but they’re all bogus and lame we know.

    Most of the posers you meet on the streets speak of war time,
    Most of the time they were safe on a base or at home.
    But that doesn’t stop them from claimin’ they did stuff heroic
    Right in the ear every one of them needs to get boned.

    Posin’, like the bunny man. Ranger, sniper, claims to beat the band
    Even when he never trained a day – what a lying clown, all show

    Sometimes their lies start gettin’ to me;
    So damn bad I can barely see.
    Lately it occurs to me
    On their faces I’d like to pee.

    What in the world ever became of Ms. Weebles?
    She lost her gut, but she still is just the same tool
    Now ridin’ a bike but still lyin’ ‘bout what she really did,
    All we can say is – “She’s a damn fool!”

    Disgusted, went down to the coast. Saw a fake SEAL dancin’ with no clothes!
    Claims that he “caught the PTS” – though he never heard a shot fired, no.

    Sittin’ and starin’ again at some more fake docs
    Claimin’ Purple Hearts that happened before they went in
    In his case Karma the Bitch she came a callin
    Wasn’t him that got hurt his wife’s the one that got nailed

    Busted, did it to his self, Lied for free stuff and it boomeranged
    But damn it, it get’s to wearin’ thin. They just won’t shut their yaps, oh no.

    We’re sick of all of the posin’ and we’d like to screw ya
    That’s why this site exists – just to put it to ya.
    It will expose your ass if you’re valor stealin’
    So go get a life, quit lyin’ and you we won’t pound.

    Sometimes their lies start gettin’ to me;
    So damn bad I can barely see.
    Lately it occurs to me
    Posers all in jail I’d love to see.

    Another has their lies exposed. Whoa whoa baby, now his life it blows,
    Back home, feels good down in my bones, another poser now exposed.
    Yet another poser now exposed.

  • Romance scammers sentenced

    HT_tracey_karen_vassuer_nt_130829_16x9_992

    Jerry920 sends us a link to the story of a mother-daughter team who scammed hundreds of mostly women with their phony soldier scheme;

    Prosecutors said [Tracy Vasseur and her mother, Karen Vasseur] helped funnel money to Nigeria after their accomplices lured women on online dating sites into becoming romantically involved with and giving thousands of dollars to people they thought were members of the military. The two stole more than $1 million, ultimately roping in 374 victims in more than 40 countries, the attorney general said.

    The mostly female victims were looking for love on the Internet, but instead had their hearts broken when they realized the soldiers weren’t real, prosecutors said in their indictment last year.

    They fell victim to the scheme on dating and social networking sites, including Facebook, prosecutors said. The perpetrators sent photographs and military documents to the victims to convince them they were soldiers, then asked the victims to wire money to pay for satellite phones or travel expenses so they could visit, prosecutors said.

    Ladies, just stop it. No real soldier sends you his documentation or asks you for money to go on leave or to return from the combat zone. If they send you a scan of their ID card, they’re not for real. Trust me on that. I’ve got an email in my inbox right now from a woman who was scammed and is now vengeful and wants us to help her burn this “guy”.

    [Tracy Vasseur] was sentenced on Monday to 15 years in jail and five years parole in the Internet scam case. She also received a four-year sentence for crimes she committed while free on bond.

    Her mother was sentenced in July to 12 years in jail and five years parole for her role in the scam, in addition to a 10-year sentence for stealing money by promising loans that never materialized.

    Good!

  • Kokesh rots in jail

    One of our good friends sent us a link to the Washington Post which announces that Judge Patricia A. Broderick has denied bond for IVAW member Adam Kokesh yet again citing the fact that he violated a bond on previous arrest a few weeks before his latest arrest.

    Kokesh, 31, has been jailed since his July 25 arrest, after he posted a 23-second video on YouTube of himself apparently loading a shotgun in Freedom Plaza on July 4.

    He requested a change in his no-bond status during a hearing Aug 13.

    In her ruling, Broderick also cited that Kokesh had no verifiable employment and authorities found several weapons and illegal drugs inside his Herndon home.

    I guess being an itinerant hippie has it’s down side. The DCist reports that whoever is keeping Kokesh’s Facebook page assures us that Kokesh is in “high spirits”.

  • “High ranking” officer sentenced for child solicitation

    MCPO Ret. In TN sends us to a link to a story in which 31-year-old Ryan Gericke was arrested for soliciting an undercover agent who he thought was a 15-year-old girl. Here’s the headline;

    Ryan Gericke

    After he was sentenced, his lawyer appealed to the court for bail reduction based on the fact that Gericke is a “high ranking” officer. He got his lowered bail, but a quick check of Army records says that his high rank is 1st Lieutenant in the Alabama National Guard. It’s probably a high rank to all of the cadets and 2d Lieutenants out there, but not to anyone else in the Army. I don’t even think that even a major would be considered a high rank in the way that the lawyer meant it.

  • Hasan in danger of losing beard

    Death

    Convicted murderer, Nidal Hasan is likely to lose his long-contested facial ornamentation once he arrives at the Disciplinary Barracks at Leavenworth according to the Austin Statesman;

    Fort Leavenworth officials said they could not comment specifically on Hasan, but said in a statement that “All inmates are considered soldiers and are treated as such. All inmates at the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks must abide by Army Regulation 670-1 (grooming standards which prohibit beards) unless there is an exception to policy granted.”

    Hasan had sought such an exemption last year, but it was denied by Pentagon officials.

    Now, I don’t care much about it, other than fact that it seems to mean so much to Hasan, In that regard, I say “Good!”
